Has hockey ever been otherwise? I figure(I know very very very little about this sport) if the best players can only be on the ice around 1/3 of the time it should come down to experience, no?
Don't dis Harvey. Nice little town that loves football.
Born in the valley.... Spent most of my short life outside of the valley, including in GASP! Colorado Springs... Hills and mountains and trees suck.
Honestly the regular season doesn't matter for much in any conference tourney considering any team actually capable of winning the tourney is probably in it.
Wolters is gone....even if he was still here...wouldn't be a shock for NDSU to make it this year. Pretty fun watching those two teams go at it last year.
Thats odd, 2 of the last 3 have been blowouts
I think it'll be within 10 points one way or the other.
I'll throw down a case of beer that the Herd keeps him under 40...seems safe enough for me eh?
Absolutely shocked it isn't sold out. Not overly happy about the ticket price. When I looked online it looked like they were 25 or 30 bucks a pop? Couple years ago we got in for 10 or 15.
So trying to disrupt a guy with the puck is dirty and cheap but a guy who knocks a guys glove out of the way is being awesome? Lemme guess, you thought Ben Blood starting stuff in the line with America's Team(The Gophs) was awesome too...
History hasn't taken place with these schools in division one....without playing one another on top of that. Remember...Navy and Notre Dame used to have annual national title implications too
Not anymore. This stopped when I was growing up. When NDSU and UND quit playing in football it changed things. It has been 10 years since these two teams have played. Guess who the kids are cheering for? Guess who parents are dressing their kids up as for Halloween? NDSU Bison. Are there hardcore fans that will never switch? Of course. Plenty of them. But if the teams aren't playing....people are a little less tied to a specific school.
