NorthDakota Football @UNDfootball3m Thanks for the guesses on who we might play - it will be back-to-back Pac-12 foes as a game at Washington will be on the slate for 2018 Collapse Reply Retweeted Favorite More

Minnesota was my first thought, but if this game isn't until 2018 then I don't think the B1G would even allow them to schedule us...I hope I am wrong though!

It appears that we may have another future FBS game scheduled, stay tuned for announcement: NorthDakota Football @UNDfootball11m Be on the lookout later today for another scheduling announcement regarding a future FBS opponent #staytuned Expand Reply Retweet Favorite More

Agreed, predicting QB play right now is a crap shoot. I am optimistic that improved line play and our proven receivers should help take a load off of the QB's shoulders. In the spring game we saw receivers make catches on over or under thrown balls, which is a good sign but it wasn't a real game so any guess is as good as mine. At this point I am more worried about stopping the run than our offense.

Q&A with Doug Fullerton: http://www.bigskyconf.com/news/2013/6/10/GEN_0610132516.aspx

I think if we tank it this year then it is time to have a very serious conversation about the future leadership of the program. Taking a team through a transition (coupled with the nickname issue) is not easy and I have to believe that he deserves the benefit of the doubt...for now. Personally I think this year will be very telling in terms of our future. With 7 home games I would be very disappointed if we do not get to the 6 win mark (7 is what I am really looking for). If we have a 6 win season with a couple really close losses then i can't justify being mad; if the losses are blowouts then we have a different narrative. Our QB's are redshirts after all...

Agreed, A win over SDSU would do wonders!

Buy- Taking action rather than talking speaks volumes. Buy or Sell- We hit 12,000 attendance for at least one game in 2013?
-
I may have missed this but what is the best way to pay you?

This is a good thing. Hard work often pays off.

Devils Lake is where I grew up and I still hunt there with my family every year. This is why I contend that 1 PM games are a tough sell for this part of the country because of our other pastimes (hunting). I also contend that when games are 2:30 or later you can do it all in one day. I hope you make it to a game this year!
-
I used to use the hunting excuse when games were at 1 PM but the earliest they will be is 2:30...that extra hour and a half makes a world of difference. You should get out to a game...they were really fun to watch last year (on offense).

Good points. I remember taking a friend to the Cal Poly game in (I think 09). They were ranked 23rd at the time and we won but there were only like 6000 people there because it was a night game on halloween. point is I don't think that person has been to a game since...

As everyone has said welcome to the board! In your opinion what type of season do you think the Utes will have this year?
-
Nothing wrong with that! Out of selfishness I would like to see a game with CU!
-
That is awesome! Six hour drive for me or $200 round trip flight. I have to make it to that one!

I like the night games, especially before hockey season starts. If the game is 1 PM kickoff you have to be up early and ready to go so it's not ideal for the students. I also believe that night games allow the average fan, alumnus who lives in the area to get your Saturday to do list done in the morning...as well as hunting in October. Then you have the evening free for entertainment. This is all simply my theory but I can recall my group not being ready in time to tailgate a 1 PM game as a student so we just didn't go and also hunting has pulled me away from a 1 PM game whereas if it was 4 or later I would be good to go. What are some thoughts on this from those who live outside of Grand Forks?
-
Sell- He does a good enough job. I do prefer Jack Michaels over him for sure. Jack gets so excited on the radio.
-
I will be going to one of the games in October. Thinking about making the trek to Flagstaff as well.

The Al needs some skylights built in to add some natural light. That would instantly make the "feel" of the building much more appealing.
-
Like I said above if we can keep Zenner under 150 yards we have a legitimate shot at a win so I buy that. I will buy on more ints than TD's if you are referring to throwing TD's. More ints than overall TD's- sell. UND winning by 10- sell: I believe we can win and it will be by a field goal!

Keep the updates coming!

Good points Ira, thanks for the insight! I must say that my position on playing a team of Oregons caliber is neutral at this point. I absolutely agree with everything that you said...I just wish we had at least one FBS win! Schedules are filled out until 2015....I am all for getting a big game on the schedule after that.
-
I can definitely see why you would play a game like Oregon, money talks. However, I would like to see us get a mid/lower level FBS win before we jump up to the Oregon level. Then again who in their right mind would turn away 500k to play one game...that's 400k profit after expenses.
