Just a question; have you seen the play yet this year? They are more fun to watch than the Vikes but look at the Rafters. Losing is not acceptable here. Most of us won't accept losing sitting down, that doesn't make anyone fair weather. I will be sitting in the stands with empty seats around me when the fair weather fans are in the bar or at home doing what ever fair weather fans do.

Those are nice points, again, after watching Toews and Oshie play this year how is it possible either is on the ice with an NHL franchise next season? Not saying their bad players, but given the play of them this year I don't see either cracking the line up in either city. If Bochenski takes scoring 11+ goals and getting name AHL player of the week in Norfolk to get called up how is Toews going to be anywhere but Norfolk? And as bad as St. Louis is, I don't TJ Oshie replacing anyone in the St. Louis Line up.

I think Bradley was the kid sitting in the stands in section 303 on saturday night, couldn't tell for sure because he had on a stocking cap. Also there was some tall lanky kid sitting next to him in a suit as well. Any clue who he might be. I was wondering if he is a shut down defenseman?

Fair enough, but I was attacked for suggesting that Grieco had about the same stats as phil and I was basically told how dare we compare Grieco to St. Phil. So maybe your right Grieco hasn't lost 5/6 games like someone else.

Here is why. He is from Grand Forks, ND so that makes him untochable in some eyes, some how they have this notion he is the next KG. Obviously he is not. I am ready to take out lumps with Grieco and see what we can get in the offseason recruiting. If Brandt has to sit on the bench his senior years with better numbers than Phil so be it. Seriously, I long for Parise to be back in the net, there was a reason he was playing every game down the stretch. Briggs or Frazee would be better than the effort we are getting right now. It appears that the AJHL isn't much of a defensive league because no one has gaudy defensive numbers.

Phil should be taking a lot of the blame as well as Grieco for the play in their play in the nets, they both have sucked. Both has had small glimmer of decent goaltending but as a whole they have not been good. Giving up almost 4+ goals a game is not good. Also taking stupid penalties at crucial times is not good.

No one has started the Walski was robbed thread yet? I don't think the coach can take all of the blame for this, I don't see Hakstol out there letting in weak goals or taking stupid penalties. But I think this week coach should have lessions on counting.

I think most of us are in agreement with you on this one. They say that championships are won in March and April but its a lot harder to win them if you finish in the bottom half of the league standing and fail to make the playoffs.

If I was the Coach I would have lined them up for about a 1000 Herbies, while the rink was emptying out. They still would be skating as we speak. This is pathetic. Maybe some 0500 in the morning skates. Granted Elliot was good but that is not an excuse. 6th Friggen place in the WCHA, unacceptable, UAA is sitting ahead of us in the standing. Also, MTU is going to be seething after loosing twice to the Gophers this weekend. The Sioux should win but will probably be lucky to get one point out of this weekend..

I think he is the softest 6'7" player in the league. I don't think he is the worst defender this side of the mississippi but he has a lot of work to do. I am sure he is a nice kid but maybe a trip to the stands with his suit and coke might be a good place for him tonight would be good for him too. In Blaiser's day trips to the stands or sitting on the bench were common place. I think in Finley's defense he has tried to play in control because we was getting tagged for the B.S. ticky tacky penatlies that they hand out in this league( You got that one just because you bigger than the other kids and it sucks that kid ran into your elbow during a legal hit). I would rather have him sent to the box for knocking off someone's head than going to the box for a stupid holding penalty. I don't know what its like in your end of the stands but up in my section the fans are getting restless and have seen enough. This is some crappy hockey. Finely's play has almost become a comedy show because they are starting to laugh at him and make jokes about Finely is on the ice here comes a goal. Its out there and his play is being noticed.
