  1. I feel like as a Minnesota sports fan, we are stuck in mediocrity. Wild can't get over the top, the Viking can't seal the deal. I gave up on the NBA when one of them said he couldn't survive on 10 million dollars a year. I find baseball utterly, mind numbingly boring. I have resigned with the fact that I have to accept mediocrity. I hate the Packers, but they're a franchise that oozes greatness and excitement. Sometimes, I find myself admiring what they have. I've followed the Patriots and cheered for them because I actually lived there for a couple of years when I was in the service. I remember how cool it was to go to a game in Foxboro. I feel no urge to go to Minneapolis and watch the Viking stink up the joint.
  2. I have passion fatigue when it comes to the Vikings. I just can't anymore.
  3. So what is the solution? Do we fire everyone one on the coaching staff and start over? That will probably set the program back a few years. I do think UND needs to make changes to the staff. The offensive scheme is predictable and stale. That said the school also needs to make a full commitment to the football program. I don't believe it has yet. I once asked a prominent football alum if the school was as committed to football as they were hockey. He said flat out no. Not even close. There's no reason UND can't be on the same level as NDSU.
  4. I've decided that I am going to follow the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I am a Big Tom Brady and Gronk fan. I've had it with the Viking. I give up, I can't waste anymore of my time cheering for them. I've always said that I'd like to see the Vikings win a Superbowl before I die, but it will never happen.
  5. I think @Mama Sueis right. UND has to develop a culture of winning. I feel like they’re really close. Not there yet. I do think the staff at least has to take a look at the offensive scheme. It’s become stagnant and predictable.
  6. Speaking of Brink... the Denver Pioneers top line of Carter Savoie (6g-6a—12tps), Cole Guttman (3g-9a—9pts) and Bobby Brink (3g-6a—9pts) has been lighting it up.

We did. Listened to it on the radio. Not good.
  8. Nothing is going to happen to the head coach until the big money donors force the University's hand.

It hasn't worked since the beginning of the third quarter.
  10. I don't see how this ends well for UND. PI against UND in the end zone. Of course it is.
  11. For the most part, they haven't had one for three seasons.
  12. This offense is too predictable.
  13. If you think about this, I used to play $140.00 for the NHL package and now I am paying $7.00 a month for the hockey package. I really like the ESPN App on my VIZIO TV. I can watch UND football and other sports, to include NHL Hockey.
  14. Air Force ended up winning that game 5-4 in ot.
  15. On second thought, maybe he keeps his job.
  16. There's no way he can move forward as the GM of the Winnipeg Jets.
  17. They have a final matchup against SDSU, in Brookings. I am not hopeful. They really needed to be NDSU this year.
  18. I honestly don't see UND making the FCS playoffs this season.
  19. I agree 100 percent, I think that there are certain schools in year nine that still haven't improved the quality of their broadcasts. I think there needs to be a minimum standard.
  20. While it sounds great in theory, I don't see it happening. No enough demand for it. MIDCO isn't going anywhere.
  21. He's already living in DC. He posted some great photos on his twitter page.
  22. Thinking about this, you realized that UND hockey is one of the top draws for Midco, right? Midco is not going to stop covering UND hockey for a startup Division I hockey team. I don't see UND getting a better offer than Midco either.
  23. I hope he can kick a 35-45 yard field goal.
