It was from the blue line. Weak goal.
-
I'd be all for that. Jaxson Turner has been a lot of fun to watch play.

I don't understand why we can't have a FG Kicker that can make a 40-yard or 45-yard field goal?
-
Unfortunately, no.

Apparently, the author of that post doesn't think too highly of Tucker.

Good goal

Whether it was intentional or not, I liked that hit. Unfortunately, it ended up being a CTH penalty. No one wants to see that. His first hit was a nice, legal body check. We kind of surprised that the DU bench thought it was worthy of a major penalty. Kleven’s hit was the case of a taller player going for a big check on a much smaller player and making contact with that player’s head. I don’t think it was intentional like Savoie’s.
-
I agree, it was an appropriate response to Savoie's hit.

So, If I am reading this right, the new addition near the indoor facility is the new locker rooms, right? I would think they would want this to happen as soon as possible. This could be a game changer.

I think they're starting to gel as a team.

Got to have a sweep this weekend. Anything less is unacceptable.
-
And Score goals.

Here's the play in question that led to the guy laying on the ice behind the net. He got wrapped up with Ashton Calder.

Kleven's hit on Guttman was a legal shoulder-to-shoulder hit. It was a thing of beauty. I joked to Scotty Wazz after the hit that now we'll have a five minute review by the officials. Sure enough, we did. We all looked at it numerous times, it was a legal clean, hard hit. Savoie's was a predatory, dirty chicken wing elbow. If the league had any balls he'd be suspended for both games this week.

Marijuana is legal in Colorado.

Some images from Friday's game. I am impressed with Louis Jamernik. He's taken a huge step forward. Matteo Constantini is the real deal.
-
Brink was held pointless all weekend long. He can resume scoring now.
-
I'll just drop this here.

That's a pretty dumb statement. I don't normally go to the diamond. Fixed your post.

Vios Condios Mike.

Help me understand why we can't point out the inconsistencies in support between hockey and football (or other major sports)? As an alumnus, I am interested in seeing all of our programs flourish and achieve success. Right now, a lot of our programs other than hockey are floundering in mediocrity.
-
I feel like as a Minnesota sports fan, we are stuck in mediocrity. Wild can't get over the top, the Viking can't seal the deal. I gave up on the NBA when one of them said he couldn't survive on 10 million dollars a year. I find baseball utterly, mind numbingly boring. I have resigned with the fact that I have to accept mediocrity. I hate the Packers, but they're a franchise that oozes greatness and excitement. Sometimes, I find myself admiring what they have. I've followed the Patriots and cheered for them because I actually lived there for a couple of years when I was in the service. I remember how cool it was to go to a game in Foxboro. I feel no urge to go to Minneapolis and watch the Viking stink up the joint.

I have passion fatigue when it comes to the Vikings. I just can't anymore.

So what is the solution? Do we fire everyone one on the coaching staff and start over? That will probably set the program back a few years. I do think UND needs to make changes to the staff. The offensive scheme is predictable and stale. That said the school also needs to make a full commitment to the football program. I don't believe it has yet. I once asked a prominent football alum if the school was as committed to football as they were hockey. He said flat out no. Not even close. There's no reason UND can't be on the same level as NDSU.
