I'd only be for it if they upped the number of bids to the NCAA Hockey tourney. Hockey in its current form would mean you're taking another bid away from a legitimate NCAA tourney team. The AHA team currently bid is already doing that. JMHO.

I agree with @The Sicatoka if they were going to start hockey they would've done it all ready. Football is kind in the SEC.

It goes back to an old fashion cliché no one player is bigger than the program. You play for the team on the front, not the player on the back. If your coach asks you to play another year of junior. You have two choices. Play junior hockey or go somewhere else. A coach can also decide, you know what, I don't want anything to do with this player and move on. I am going to trust a coach over a player. Also, Berry and staff pick players based on character and talent.

The NCAA can't make them do anything. A conference has to accept them. I suppose they pressure, but in the end a conference has to want and accept a team.

This is a game changer. I've heard the horror stories about the Football offices. This would be a nice addition for the UND football team.

I agree with Schloss. The super regional isn’t a good idea. It would reward Minnesota unfairly every year.

I remember him back in the 1990's golfing at a golf tourney at Valley Golf, he was two fisting beers on every whole. The guy was a lot of fun. I don't think I could hit a golf ball in that condition but he golf like almost 200 rounds a summer.

Really, they have a big donor in Sanford Health. They're committed to expanding their programs and have the money to do it. I wouldn't say say never or ever.

Let the Big Ten have them. They're more like-minded with the B1G schools. There seems to be a push by some for a Summit Hockey League. I think that would be a horrible idea, too.

Just for the record, I am not pointing this comment to any member or poster of this board. This is a reference to a debate that transpired on twitter a few years back. I just wanted to clear that up.

You have to remember, Denver University has a very high opinion of themselves, they probably see a school like Minnesota State as unwashed Rubes.I keep hearing from some of their fans how the Summit League is below them and they deserved to be in a better conference.

That would be very unprofessional and unnecessary.
