Here is the funny thing that they didn't need to do anything till June when the Summit league was going to meet. So they jumped the gun as well. The thing that concerned me was Kelly's statement on how he was now going to contact the Summit League on Friday. According to Brad's Twitter, the Summit league commish won't even return their calls. Something is not right here.

Yeah Whistler was the one that got me the link to the interview. I couldn't believe what I was hearing when listened to the interview. I listened to it twice... From listening to the interview it does appear that the president and the AD begged them to kill the name so they could get into their little mid major conference.

Shouldn't this be in the fire Hakstol thread? I think the ice negated a lot of things for the Badgers last night, their goaltending sucked as well. I think having a hockey game in a football stadium was an epic fail, except for the attendence record.

It's been kind of like a funeral for me... In a way I could see this day coming. I will still wear my stuff to the games after the logo is gone. If some said you can't wear that I would tell them come and get it. I don't think the SBoHE has a clue what kind of wound they have have opened up though. It would be interesting to see what kind of emails they have gotten from Sioux fans.

I am going to have to buy a few more Sioux hats, I have tons of stuff that I wear and I will not buy a new logo jersey. I am thinking about getting the logo tattooed on my calf. I am not sure what the WIFE would say about it

I don't blame the tribes one bit, I think the SBoHE let them down, and they should get a lot of our focus. Also, as an alum of UND I am not very impressed with Robert Kelly, this man is not a strong leader and I hope he is not long for UND, He looked giddy at the new conference yesterday. Like I posted earlier yesterday I had to turn it off because I thought my head was going to explode from listening to him. I blame the educational elites that meddle in everyone

Heck even a USHL, WHL or AHL team would be sweet. It's hockey and as far as I am concerned there isn't enough hockey to watch live now.

I think the WHL would and could be sucessful in Grand Forks, I would go to Sioux hockey and WHL as well. I would love to see the Brandon Wheat Kings come to town for a two game set.
