For anyone that is considering it, the Holiday Inn across from the Xcel Energy Center is awesome, walking distance for a lot of things. I am staying there again this year. Highly recommended.

I have to agree we really don't need another high end over priced place to eat in Grand Forks, ND. We need a sports type theme that can thrive in a college town. The location is great, close to the Ralph but I guess that isn't what they had in mind. Suite 49 was good and could have been tweaked to survive.

You can't blame the loss on the goaltender, he did a pretty good job last night. I blame players on the ice. They have to get pucks deep and stop coughing up the puck. I suppose some of them ended up in some farmer's grain bin, I suppose there isn't as many out west as in the central and eastern part of the state. it's going to be a tough year for them on the east side as well with the flooding and heavy snow cover. I think it's going to be rough year for ditch chicken's. I concentrated on ducks and geese this season. I only went out pheasant hunting once last year and I didn't shoot any. I still believe that they are still smarter than the rodents.
