It's incredible how much of an impact Al had on the people who knew him. The guy was an icon in UND sports, it will be weird not seeing him at UND sports anymore. Rest Easy Al.

If he's okay with going to Juniors another year, what's the harm? Others have posted here that he's said he's cool with another year of Juniors.

I was thinking about this last night. The Toronto Maple Leafs are just a more talented version of the Minnesota Wild. They're too perimeter. In the playoffs, you have to go to dirty areas to score goals. The Kraken and the Panthers are getting to the nosebleed alleys and dirty areas. It's fun watching Hak's team play. They're mean and nasty to play against. I wish he was the Bruins coach in the playoffs.

There are certain writers that like to post inflammatory stuff in their articles to get clicks or stir debate. Especially, if they don't get as many views as they would like. I am not saying Wellins is doing this. I am not upset with his quote, it's how he feels, good luck to him. Whatever. UND has a passionate fanbase and the fanbase drives clicks.

Or said transfers were playing better than you? With the players that UND has coming in, would he have played that much this year, either?
