According the clowned prince of the WCHA Wooger UND hasn't played anyone yet? Hum, we swept DU at their barn (UofM split with them) took three points from the Huskies at their barn, and swept Tech. That 5-0-1 on the road not too bad if you ask me. Not too mention that UND only has 8 more road games and 6 at home. I think UND will do fine, besides UofM still has a way to go to catch UND for the top spot...

I suppose Zach will have to split the WCHA player of the week with Pretty Boy Vanek since he had 7 points this weekend as well. I just hope Zach gets a look because I think he deserves the honor.

I saw that two but I noticed that UND only gave up two goals against each night last weekend so I am not sure if they are doing all that bad. It sounds as if the goals scored last night except the last one really weren't Jake's fault. I hope UND can clamp down on defense and cut the goals against average down where it needs to be. Both goalies have played the same number of games. I hope Jake gets the start again tonight so he can get his confidence up there and ready for the stretch drive.

That will probably give Travis an opportunity to catch on with a team that will be able to use his offensive skills. I haven't given up hope that Roach can play in the NHL. Travis definately has the skills IMO to play at the next level...

Good point, it probably shouldn't matter and I believe that those players will have a couple of games where they will break out and have some big games. Bochenski is probably due for a few more 3 and 4 goal games... I think Zach is also going to get going and start pumping in goals... Look for a big game tonight.

The last season the Final Five was at the target center, we were at a bar near the Target Center and Wisconsin was losing in basketball in the NCAA tourney to a team that I have forgot and I started cheering and enjoying the moment. Suddenly I looked around and the whole bar was cardinal and red, much to my dismay there were hundreds of Badger fans in this bar. Realizing that I was in enemy territory (sp) and this was some place that I didn't want to be I exited the bar quitely . Yikes...

I think it is a great idea, then we can discuss them in full if anything comes up that needs to be addressed, for instance Findlay beat Niagra last night so at least the flyers are playing and not mailing in the season.

The Maverick players were drapped all over Vanek all night, so it must be the treatment stars get all over the league.

I read some where the MTU/Houghton should have about 150 inches of snow by the time UND comes up there to the UP. That seems like a lot of snow. I remember the last time Grand Forks got 100 inches of snow and we had the flood of the century. Yesh, I can't imagine shoveling all of that snow.

I am just the opposite, I would rather like to see a team like BU or Michigan win the NCAA than the Univeristy of Minnesota.

I think UofM is a good team, they just aren't as good as UND. I see them finishing 4 or 5 in the league. Have gone on record as saying will not win the NCAA title. I am taking beer bets as I speak...

I am not so sure we want friends like you. That sounds painful. One time I was drunk at a hockey game (no, no, not me) Standing/sitting next to the glass beating on it in the visitors end below the band, I think it was while I was flipping off a Badger player. Well along comes the the big Campus Cop (you know the one that is really big with the bald head) he comes up to me to stop my drunken actions. Mind you I can hardly stand up and he tells me if I beat the glass one more time I am going to out of the arena on my ear. I told him in my drunken state I was still faster then him. For some reason he laughed at me and let me stay in the arena. I never touched the glass again ever...

I think we shouldn't look into it to deeply, IF UND plays on all 8 cylinders, plays our game, tight defensively and goes for the throat and jumps on MTU in the first period it could be over fast. I would say that this is UND first easy league opponent and I believe they will have a fun day in the snow in Houghton...

In fact it is in reach. Here is how it could happen. UND Sweeps Tech (very Do able) takes three points UofW and 3 from DU in our barn, UND has won four of the last five games from them. Splits with UMD and Minnesota and sweeps of C.C. and Mankato... There it is...

UND would really have to go into the crapper to have that happen to them... I think UND is much to deep and too focused to let that happen to them.

Actually I thought their goaltending numbers where better last season, that being said they are probably facing 40+ shots a night translating to lots of goals for UND. I wouldn't expect anything less. This could be where the top (2) lines gets a lot of points this weekend...

With Goaltending numbers like that Bochenski, Parise, Murray should be licking their lips for this weekends series... I predict some high scores...
