This game is boring and I thought the first game was much better than this one.

He seems to be tuned in.

I am not sure how good your sources are, but Bryn was the odds on favorite for the position. Not much digging was needed for that one.

I just did, it's been a busy week. I listened to the presser again today; there was much to digest. F, yeah, comes to mind. Jackson is intense. He's going to work hard every day, and he expects the same from his coaches and players. Playing on a sports team is a lot like battling with your battle buddies. I don't feel they had that this year. It seemed like they had 23 guys going all different directions. You can't have people going in different directions. The culture is going to change.

Understand that, still I wouldn’t look too deeply into it. The former coaches Hak and Gino were there, too. I think it’s more of a show of support. Who knows.

Have to find some time first. I have a bunch of things today. Band concert.

I wouldn't look too far into this, Coltyn Sanderson was at the press conference, too.

I was happy with what I heard today, I am going to relisten to it, again. My link wasn't that good.

He also talked about watching the coaches Geno and Blais head out on the road to Sask, Manitoba and Minnesota to recruit the next day. Also, a message.

Coach just took a shot or two at the players the leave for money or don’t want to be there. Nice!

What's xhiring for Dane Jackson?

I can tell you from talking to people in the hockey world, Bent Chyzyk is highly regarded as a great hockey mind and has a great eye for talent. I think it would be a good idea to hire him at part of the staff to be a team GM or ever we want to call it. He was at Breakaway Academy and I know he is well respected, and my brother-in-law speaks highly of him, too. For the record Jackson Blake was a Breakaway hockey player.

He's been an assistant for 19 years.

To the current and past players (and there are a lot of you): You are the lifeblood and face of UND Hockey. I want to thank you all in so many ways. Thank you for representing North Dakota Hockey at the very highest level on the ice, in the classroom and in the community. You all worked so hard in all of these areas each and every day. As I posted in another thread. Redwing77 and I chat via text message from time to time and he just posted on Goon’s World Yesterday.

It was a fun weekend, and I caught up with people I hadn't seen in a while; regardless of the result, it was worth the trip. I think some changes are going to happen in the near future, and who knows what will happen? This final hurrah was fun. Currently, I sit in a cold, empty arena, watching two teams warm up. I like neither team, but WMU is the lesser of two evils. There can't be over 1000-1500 people here.
