It doesn't matter whose fault it is? So there is no accountability for Chaves on down? Everyone gets extended into infinity and the rest of us are supposed to just shut up and accept it? Sorry, but that is 1000% unacceptable. What a nice racket Chaves has set up for himself and the rest of the department! The only one who can change it is Armacost.

Name one hire that Chaves has made that has worked out in any meaningful way. You can't........unless you are fine with all the mediocrity. I am not with it.

I look at it differently. The resources available make a crap product less tolerable, not more. There is no excuse for underachieving with the resources available here. -

But we can't expect that kind of success here because the NCAA tournament is "one and done" and it's all about "luck". (sarcasm) Cripes, our program is sinking into the black hole of low expectations and even worse results. I am sick of playing second and third fiddle to other teams in the national college hockey scene. This should not be a problem here. Ever. -
If you want to defend Chaves, go ahead. But his record speaks for itself. And it's not pretty.
-
Okay wise guy, I'll call your bluff. I'll happily pitch in something. I think a lot of people would do the same.
-
Apathy. It's what happens when the AD keeps rewarding mediocrity.
-
Any of the excuse makers want to rationalize this away?

I was thinking the same thing.

Did you start drinking early today?

I'm just very bearish on UND athletics right now. Too much mediocrity and too little concern for it. -
I am shocked (the good kind).

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

So that's what we are reduced to? Waiting for weaker opponents so we can win games and grab some league points? That's a one way ticket to perennial mediocrity. This whole athletic department is trending that way. -
UND athletics as a whole is getting like this. It's getting really hard to swallow.

Have we scored a single breakaway goal this season? -

I'd still be at home. FB looks to be a blowout loss for the home team, but I don't want to miss the last home game. Hockey has plenty of home games left. -

I will not make it this weekend as I am still dealing with fatigue from my kidney stone fight. I am going to FB tomorrow as it is our last home game of 2024. Thank God for Midco Sports. -

This stretch will either crush them or turn them into diamonds. -
I would be surprised if attendance is above 1,000.

TCoS comes immediately to mind. -
This is a big year for the coaching staff. At some point, we need to take steps forward in WBB.

Nope, no left-over debris. The urologist used a technique that vacuumed out my kidney and cleaned it up. Really top-notch care from everyone at Altru. -
I always loved that one!
