The schedule will get better in the ensuing years, we just have stay patient. This is the problem with our athletic department: If it isn't men's hockey, it doesn't matter. We can't have this attitude anymore if we are going to have success at the D-I level.

Please tell me you didn't just say that. As for the topic at hand, I think the biggest problem with this program right now is that we are playing like the Minnesota Wild instead of the great Sioux teams of old. This dump and chase, trapping style does not match up well against teams like Boston College. Michigan State had teams like this in the 1990's and they never lived up to the hype of the regular season. As long as we build our teams like this, I think we will have trouble winning the big one.
