  1. Dressler returns it to the 15. 1st and 10 for Manke and the boys! Come on Sioux!!!
  2. Touchdown Omaha. Miller from one yard out. PAT good. 10:50 in first quarter UNO 7 UND 0 This could get away from us if we don't step up and respond.
  3. 4th and goal! Going for it.
  4. 1st and goal Omaha! Come on Defense.
  5. Big running play for Omaha on 1st and 10!
  6. Thank god for the Fighting Sioux Football network!
  7. Webcast is now on!!! Looks like the audio stream is from UNO!!!
  8. The Gophers will remain winless in the Big Ten, but they should get out of the doghouse next week against D-IAA North Dakota State. Or will they?!?! T-minus 6 minutes and counting until kickoff in Omaha!!!
  9. Diggler, You just proved that you listen to Dan "The Common Man" Cole on KFAN every weekday from 12-2pm! Ok, everybody now...... (Cue Jefferson Starship music) And we can build this dream together...... Standing strong forever....... Nothing's gonna stop us now!!!!! And if the world runs out of lovers...... We'll still have each other....... Nothing's gonna stop us....... Nothing's gonna stop us now!!!!! LET'S GO SIOUX!!!
  10. It's time to get this thing started! North Dakota, #1 in the Northwest Region, travels to Neb-Omaha, #2 in the Region. They ruined our season last year, it's time for some payback!!! Prediction: UND 28 UNO 21 Manke has a big game against suspect Maverick pass defense, UND run defense slows down Omaha's #1 ranked rushing game, and gets a couple of picks. Webcast available at CSTV.com LET'S GO SIOUX!!!
  11. The fact that Wayne Nelson picked against UND at all is a shock. He is without question the biggest UND homer in the media, except maybe for Tony "The Cogswell Cannon" Stein! It doesn't matter what the media thinks anyway. The players and coaches will decide the outcome of this game.
  12. I am the opposite. I grew up hating the Badgers with a burning passion. Chris Chelios was a player I loved to hate. So was Bruce Driver. But starting in the early 1990's, Goldy Gopher started to get under my skin. All those biased telecasts on Minnesota Sports Channel (MSC), hearing that stupid Minnesota Rouser over and over and over, hearing their fans talk about 25-year-old Canadians and that whole "Minnesota Pride On Ice" bullcrap , hearing about how the new Mariucci Arena was a palace and the Old Ralph was a dump, etc. By the mid-1990's, Blais had taken over the program and rebuilt it pretty fast and we started to gain a measure of revenge on the disease-infested little Rodents. Of course, when they can't win the hockey arguments, they resort to bashing the state of North Dakota, the city of Grand Forks, the academic standards of UND, the fact we aren't D-I in all sports (soon to change), etc. I don't think I've ever heard Badger fans pull this kind of crap on a regular basis. Sure the Gopher fans on this forum are pretty decent and polite, but go over to USCHO.com and that is where the "Pride On Ice" true believers run around bashing our program. And if you ever go to the Final Five or even a regular season game in Minneapolis, you'll feel the wrath of the Rodents just for having a Sioux jersey on. I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree. End rant.
  13. Shouldn't that type of venom be reserved for Goldy Gopher? Nice creative work, though!
  14. I agree. UW broadcasting team is pro-Badger, but not to the point where you can't stand to listen to them. They show respect to the other team. Oshie will score a ton of goals this season. If he keeps working hard (and he will) he will start getting the bounces and he'll finish in the top 5 in scoring in the league and maybe the nation. He has that little motor in him that never stops turning. The Toews-Oshie-Duncan line is the best in the country, IMHO.
  15. I have stated this before and I will again: The Lamoureux sisters would give our women's program instant credibility and a big shot in the arm talent-wise. It looks like Rivard might have struck gold with this freshman class. This is probably her last chance to build a winning program here. Getting the Lamoureux sisters here would probably put us over the top in terms of having a winning team.
  16. I am going to get a TV hooked up in the same room as my computer. I have Midcontinent cable and high-speed internet and they are delivered via the same cable. Shouldn't be too difficult.
  17. That is what was carved into the 1997 NCAA Championship Rings! I hope your statement is prophetic for 2007 in St. Louis.
  18. Dang it! I missed the GWG while I was posting on here! That does it, I am getting a TV set up in the same room as my computer so I can do both. I did see the replay, though, nice effort by the younger Zajac. Time to go for the sweep tomorrow night!!! GO SIOUX!!!
  19. I think you forgot the "W" in Toews!
  20. Evenly played game so far, pretty good October hockey. I vote for Oshie to get the game winner!
  21. Play getting a little chippy.
  22. Skille for Wisconsin looks to be injured.
  23. There haven't been a lot of great scoring chances for either team tonight. Both teams have had to fight for every shot. The next goal wins.
  24. Time to dig down deep and get the lead back.
  25. Sioux looking good, leading by one. We have to come out strong in the third. Badgers will throw everything at us, the crowd might become a factor as the clock ticks down. Come on Sioux, let's secure the split tonight!
