So much complaining and unhappiness after a freaking home sweep. Sure there are things that need work, but the team is starting to figure it out. Try to enjoy the wins at least a little bit.

Who cares which school our next HC comes out of? It would be brilliant to hire someone from a successful program who knows them from the inside out and probably knows where to find talented recruits. It would be even better considering they are our most bitter rival and we can use one of their assistants to stick it to them in the MVFC. As I have said before, Chaves did not hire any of the current head coaches. That means Bubba, Brewster and Jones are all on unofficial "notice".

Putting Santiago in the slot would create major match-up problems for defenses. Putting him in the slot with JJ and Brady in the backfield would be even better.

This team is a work in progress. Saturday night's win was a big step forward, but now we are playing an historical rival in Las Vegas. That will be another big test for this team. The best players on this team are not upperclassmen, which is why you are seeing the ups and downs from one game to the next and even one shift to the next. The potential is there to be very, very good. I think by December or January we'll know what we have.

Winning will solve 95% of these problems. Winning consistently from year to year will do wonders for attendance for every group. The problem is people are always waiting for the next shoe to drop with the team being good one week and not-so-good the next. That has been the problem for this program for 10 years now. Hopefully this season is the start of a new era. #justwinbaby
