  1. Kids can also get burned out on hockey and quit because they don't enjoy playing anymore.
  2. I posted this after the Goofer series. I will post it again here. Because I think the best is still to come with this UND team: "You play baseball coach for a moment. Two players run to first. They both have the same time, but one has perfect form, the other, lousy form." Which one do you pick? The one with lousy form. Why? ‘Cause teach him the right form...and he beats the other guy. Check back in April to see if I am right.
  3. Or SDSU is just that damn good.
  4. First must win game so far this season. Have to start cashing in on scoring opportunities, I don't care if we are facing Patrick Roy in his prime.
  5. I am concerned that we can't put the biscuit in the basket, even with way more offensive talent than last year. Hopefully they'll figure it out before Christmas and be very hard to beat after that.
  6. Probably closer to 14.
  7. A win is a win, but it doesn't inspire all that much confidence going forward.
  8. Home cooking? More like a smorgesboard.
  9. The fact that Murray State didn't get flagged until the fourth quarter is very disturbing and suspicious.
  10. What, no flag?
  11. These refs need to be fired.
  12. Good point. Can't blame the QB for the defensive issues.
  13. Still plenty of time to blow it.
  14. The lack of killer instinct on this team is astounding.
  15. You are right. Plenty of prospects to recruit.
  16. So should Eaves get a 2016 championship ring?
  17. Yeah, I agree with you. But it's easier said than done.
  18. How's the quality?
  19. Yeah, Eaves ruined his legacy at Wisconsin with all that overrecruiting.
  20. I just don't want to have a hole in our recruiting class.
  21. Very sad news. She was a key piece of our National Championship three-peat in the 1990's. RIP Katie. I posted this in another discussion, but I think it applies here as well: This incident is a reminder that our time on this planet is finite and tomorrow is not guaranteed to us. We complain about bad playcalls, our teams underachieving and so on. And that is what this forum is for. But it is good to have a reminder once in awhile that life should be cherished and not taken for granted.
  22. Not a bad choice. Didn't give up much to get him either. Low risk, high potential reward.
