If the Dakotas and Montanas want to move up, they'll have to do it together. Geography dictates this. This would give the Mon-Dak 6 some bargaining power. They could either form their own conference or secure a home in an existing conference looking to expand. This is the only way FBS will happen for the Mon-Dak 6.

Even if you can afford to move up and become a lower-level FBS program, the best you can hope for is a 7-4 record and a crappy Bowl game in mid-December on a weeknight with the stands half-full if you are lucky. The CFP is a long-shot. And even if you somehow qualified for that, you would run into upper-level FBS teams with way more depth and athleticism. It's fool's gold.

Until UND proves it can play well on the road, I wouldn't be shocked if they lost by two touchdowns.
-
Considering we won #8 without a "home" regional, I don't think flying somewhere is necessarily a huge disadvantage.

It would be awesome to have the Frozen Four in Madison Square Garden in New York.

This ought to help our coaches recruit quality student-athletes who get it done in the classroom and on the field/court/ice.

Last year's Manitoba team was the worst I have ever watched. They usually are much better than that. -

We are playing "Toba" in early January, but I do agree with you. It will be exciting to see what Augustana has been able to put together. -
Yes. As they should.
-
But I thought Fargo was "The Center of the Known Universe"? Isn't that what KVLY and WDAY want us to believe?
-
Talk about apathetic ownernship! The opposite of meddling ownership. Both extremes are bad.

I hear you. I'm still trying to get the bitter aftertaste of March out of my mouth. -
Well, here we go again! Another season is upon us. Looking forward to seeing the incoming freshmen. The Drive for 9 begins again.

How much of NDSU's defensive improvement was a result of the quality of opponent? I guess we'll find out next Saturday.
-
Too much bickering amongst ourselves after a big home win. This team remains a work in progress, but I am pleasantly surprised with the 4-1 start. Now the meat of the schedule begins.

If the defense was a little more consistent, it would be easier to put Jerry in at times like this.
-
It's better than last year. But we still have work to do in not giving up big plays and relaxing with a big lead.
-
I don't want us giving up 40+ points.
-
Who?
-
I wouldn't have totally abandoned the run down there.
-
Better than last week.
-
This wide open crap has to stop.
-
Now figure out something on defense.

Romfo for six!!!!!!!

If the defense is going to give up big yards and points, they can't get too conservative.
