Look at the plans for the new Frost arena. This is absolutely something they could do at the Betty. It even looks like the Betty with the one suite on the one side. I think they could puyll it off, and it would be great!!

Tranfer portal is here at college basketball. How many quality transfers want to play for a team that has had single digit wins the past 2 seasons and is looking to do that again this year and looking to finish last in the conference 2 years in a row?

Missouri State had 43 transfers that joined the team last season. Hoe did that work out for them?!!

Lance is the starter. As good of a run that Purdy had, he upside is still not as high as Trey. He will be the bakcup behind Lance and Jimmy G will be traded elsewhere.

Just say that Minneapolis is looking to put out a bid for the 2026 World Juniors. https://www.therinklive.com/international/minnesota-group-expected-to-bid-on-hosting-2026-iihf-world-juniors I find the timeing intersting considering St Thomas just anounced that they are bulding a new hockey facility with a 4000 seat arena last week. I could see a bid proposal using the Xcel and the new Lee and Penny Anderson Arena as sites for the tournament. The new Anderson Arena is scheudled to open fall of 2025.

I always hoped that UND basketball would get to a level where they would have to play games consistently at the Ralph. Not because they wanted to, but becuase they had to due to attendance being to large for the Betty!! Someday....maybe!

Yeah, that St Peter connection is really working out great for UND. Two FCS games at Target Field and UND not in either of them.

Sather is gone. The writing is on the wall. With only one year left on his contract, it's not going to be a huge buyout. Announcement should be made the day after their eventual loss in the Summit League Tournament. Hit the ground running and have this position open right away.

UND currrently 7th in the NCHC standings. 8 points out for home ice. Next two series are against #6 UMD and at #8 Miami. We then end the year with Series against the top 4 teams in the league. Now playing those teams can help us catch up in the standins to secure home ice pretty quick. But this team has to get at minimum 9 points over the next two weekends to even put us in a position a chance fro home ice.

The 3-4 is not an NFL defense. Can’t have Hunter playing Linebacker. Just d dumb. No pressure in the QB ever.

Sather conference records: 2019-2020: 7-9 2020-2021: 8-8 2021-2022: 2-16 2022-2023: 0-5 So in 3 plus years, that’s 17-38. 2-21 in the last 2 seasons so far. Pathetic.

If this team loses to Denver on Saturday, Sather needs to be let go. He has shown that he can’t coach at the D1 level.
