Chaves is a coward. UND has spent a lot of time and money trying to promote the new Fighting Hawks brand for the University. Literally EVERY athletic program is on board and proudly wears the logo on their jerseys, their apparel they wear to and from games, etc. But the hockey program gets a bye. Why? Because Armcoast, Chaves, Hodgeson, Berry, etc are afraid of upsetting the "Sioux Forever" crowd. Chaves, grow a pair and get the hockey program on board with the Fighting Hawks name and logo. Just pathetic that this continues to happen. It's been 7 years since the logo was introduced and longer for the name. Its f&$%ing time!! End rant!

My point is you can't really determine the outcome of the season after one game. Half the teams will be 0-1 (baring any ties) after week 1.

The Bears beat the Niners in week 1 last year. Bears ended up winning only 2 more games all year and the Niners were in the NFC Championship game. Just sayin!

It's really not that hard. Really only need to look about 70 miles south for an example of a good game day experience. I mean, if you want to get crazy, spend a couple bucks to visit some other stadiums in the region and see what they do!! I don't know why this is so hard to figure out.

Looking closer at the Powerpoint plans, you can see soccer lines on the outdoor turf. the plan was to replace the track and the turf there. Might as well put soccer lines on there and make it a multi use facility.
