There is a small group of Bison fans that just can't get over the fact that UND did not move up to D1 he same time NDSU did and resent them for not scheduling the Bison after that. They felt betrayed and wronged for some reason. I get hating your rival. But any rational fan of both UND and NDSU can clearly see that having UND and NDSU in the same conference (especially football) is what the majority of fans of both schools want. It's time to move on and embrace the possibility of having UND and NDSU (as well as SDSU and USD) in the same conference.

I do like how Bubba is calling this game "Big Sky Championship Game" on social media. He does a great job of marketing his team and getting fans excited. Need to get WDAZ, GF Herald, Alerus Center, etc to hype it up as well.

The last time NDSU had to play on Thanksgiving weekend was 2010. Is was their first D1 playoff game and first playoff game at the Fargodome. Perfect recipe for a huge turnout. Attendance was 12202.

I am really wondering how big of a bid UND would put up. Faison will most likely look at the attendance of this Saturdays game as a measuring stick for a playoff game. Keep in mind that the first round is over Thanksgiving. If we only get 8000 to a game where we could win a Big Sky title and the weather is going to be in the 50's, how many are we going to get on Thanksgiving Saturday when the weather is in the 30's or less.

Seeing the Bison's streak of Championships end would be fantastic. Having UND be the ones that do it would be even better!!

UND is playing for a Big Sky Championship on Saturday. The biggest game at the Alerus since we moved to D1. We are pretty much guaranteed to be in the playoffs and this may be the last time that we get to see this team play at home. If that isn't enough to get you out to the Alerus to support this team, noting is. It's time for people to get out and support a winning team and a potential Championship team.

Not sure what the end game is here for the guys who came up for this design. Do they think people are going to buy this alternate "Fighting Hawk" merchandise so they can protest the name and logo? People can already wear there Sioux merchandise if they want to do that!

Not playing the last week definitely doesn't help our cause to get a top 8 seed. Would need 2-3 loses by some really good teams. So we are most likely looking at playing that first weekend. That being said, having that bye week at the end of the season is going to be an advantage to whoever we have to play. This team badly needs a week off to heal up.

Pretty jacked to go to the game tonight!! Road games are always the best!! Especially when there are a lot of UND fans in attendance! Should be no different tonight. Hopefully we can turn the John into Ralph South!! #alwaysahomegame

A good tip when trying to be successful in anything, try to look what others have done that has worked and do that. NDSU used to have night games all the time. That was fine. But their tailgate really picked up when they majority of their home games to 2:30. No obviously the success of their team helped out too. But IMHO, 2:30 is an ideal time for kickoff.

The single greatest sports moment in my life!! I was literally numb for like 20 minutes after they won. Just could not believe it!!! I don't thin the next one will take 018 years. Problem that hurts UND is they don't play the last week. So pollsters and selection committee members will see what teams did the last weak and maybe forget about what happened the weak before. Getting a seed is possible if we win the last two games, but it is still a long shot. Need lots of help.
