Trying to remember the last peaceful "protest" that got national attention. This is exactly the reason that most protesters act like this. If these protesters were just sitting on the side of the road, holding signs, and chanting...no one would even be talking about this. But because there is violence and mayhem, they get the attention of the media.

Hearing Bison fans on Bisonville and other sites complain about the "tough draw" they got having to potentially face SDSU in the quarters is pretty funny! You are the 5 time defending National Champion with a route to Frisco that has you playing at home for every game. Sorry Bison fans. Not going to get much sympathy from other fanbases. Wait...I change my mind. I do feel bad for Bison Nation that they aren't matched up with teams that they match up with the best defensively and that have never played a game in the Fargodome so they can intimidate them!!

I walked out of that game with my ears ringing. Hadn't happened before and hasn't happened again after any game at the Alerus. Those 4 plays that UC Davis had from our 1 yard line that we stopped them every time were insane!!!

Welcome to the FC$ Playoffs!! Rationalization sucks, but it is a reality. Of course the best thing to do would be to rank all 24 teams, bracket them accordingly, and give the home game to the highest seed. But that is much to easy and logical for the NCAA.

I am pretty convinced that if SDSU beats UNI, they will leap over us for the 8 seed and we end up playing Montana in Missoula for a chance to play in Brookings. Jacks would be 8-3 with one of the toughest SOS in the FCS with a win over #1 NDSU as well as being conference champions. Sam Houston still needs to win and beat Central Arkansas, but the UNI/SDSU game is the one I will be most concerned about.

This year was also painfully close to 7-4 and most likely on the outside looking in for the playoffs this year.

Does the "19" in your username stand for your age, your IQ, or the number of years you have lived in your parents basement since dropping out of community college?!! What type of response are you expecting when you throw out comments like that? If you want to engage is spirited depate about the Big Sky and the MVFC, then do it. If you just want to make insulting, trolling comments, then expect to pay the verbal consequence!!

Bids are already in. Hopefully it was a good one. We should be able to outbid anyone besides SDSU and Montana. If we get the 9 and we aren't matched up with them, I would expect a home game.

I think the NCAA feels guilty for screwing us over and is looking for a change to repay UND!!

I am sure there were several games before I was around that people can put on the list, but here is my top 5: 1. 2001 National Championship game vs GVSU 2. 1993 vs NDSU 3. 2001 Semifinal vs UC Davis 4. 2003 vs NDSU 5. 2016 vs Northern Arizona

On thing that bothers me about these rankings is how teams are moving up and down but with now real reason why. Sure, committee members may be looking at other factors more closely and ranking them more accordingly, but there just doesn't seem to be an reason for them doing what they are doing. If I am Sam Houstone or Jacksonville St, I probably realize that maybe I shouldn't be ranked #1 or #2. But when you are put in that spot in the early polls and then you drop 2-3 spots after winning a game, It doesn't make much sense. These weekly rankings are good only if they do it right the first time. Fixing mistakes in the 3rd poll really makes the first couple ranking useless.

I know they were going to try to avoid inter conference matchups in the first couple rounds, at least the first round. But does that get thrown out the window if the teams haven't played each other?

So Saturdays game was one of the best UND games that I have ever seen. Obviously with how they won it and what was at stake, it ranks it up there as one of the best in UND football history. But was is THE best? Hard to put any game ahead of the 2001 National Championship, but it is definitely up there. Since it's a bye week, why not go down memory lane and recall some of the best UND football games ever.

So know you are ranking teams based on potential? Any team that plays on top of their game is going to be good. Did you eat paint chips as a kid?

By that logic, any hand off in front of the quarterback would be considered a pass since he is moving the ball forward an inch into the RB's hands. I understand the ruling, but from the naked eye it looked like a fumble and I doubt the NAU coach would have complained had they ruled it that way.
