With enough of a donation and champions club membership.... the wait or lack there of would be significantly reduced. Opportunity lies with champions club rank. Money buys more points. I'd call the champions club people and they could probably tell you in detail what the possibilities are.

Some good info here,... accourding to the internet.. $11,250 in 1962 is equivalent to about $93,000 in todays dollars. Obviously the current clvalue of the land far exceeds that. But the question as to the best interest of the university, the administrations have not be wrong in beleiving this plot is not best utilized as a 9 hile golf course. Gifts of $100k are very important but may not neccessarily earn the right to dictate into perpetude. The KEY to all of this is TACT and HUMILITY..... and the massive shortfall in those areas is what has been at the root of almost all of Kennedys issues.. IMO. The University .... IMHO.... should do what it can to hold the land... or a good portion of that land as long as they can. We are going to need a plot of land to build a bigger better hockey rink someday

This is actually something that can be agreed on. It wont happen... why would schools spend the money when they can get clubs to foot the bill for it as jr gold teams. the NDHSAA and schools will continue to not support hockey growth and maintain the status quo to push as many of the current "also ran" programs (HB, MPCG, Bott, .. Dx?. Williston?) that direction.. imo. Im not even sure that would be such a bad outcome .....( Would be a very competitive league.. i.e. fun) but the kids are the ones hurt and robbed of opportunities until something happens.

Although, I do see a point.. the massive donation many years ago was probably not benefiting the University anymore... in fact costing. So what to do... return the donation?... (land)... Walk away or dispose of a gifted asset contrary to the donors intent?... Its a very delicate situation actually. And in the eyes of future donors... what will be done with their donations into the future... How would UND handle full ownership of the REA after the twakward troupe of trouble at twamley stumbled and bumbled its administration for a few years and started being a sinkhole of money... sell it off??? There are a lot of optics here that are way more visible than I think the administration wants... and it seems the process has been led quite poorly.

Take aways from the game... 3 points. Bast absolutely should sit 1 maybe 2. That hit is what needs to be out of the game of hockey. If it was ours on the receiving end. twitter and ss.com would have had to add more servers. If anyone thinks Canisius or colorado college are good or even marginally talented hockey teams at this level. That person should be branded with some typeof unremovable decoration so that all of society knows that their opinions are toxic and have no possiblity of rationally benefiting mankind. Also they know absolute dyck about hockey. CC is a badly untalented team. Thats a fact... UND struggled to compete and was a slight tip with little time remaining away from of a tie.... we can hold off on the hope and change a bit. The "its a win" all that matters crowd is dangerous. We tie DU or St clown... fine...lose to them ok...... but to a cc NOW at this point ..with the weight of their low pairwise carried..... a tie would have left only the frozen as a playoff path. Period. Thats the facts. And its the same tonight. It is a must win and for gods sake idnlike to see our talented kids show some of their potential and kick the snot out of a vastly lesser skilled opponent. That's what is and should be expected, that expectation needs to be executed as opposed to exalted in words only.
