Very very very, wrong. Not nearly the same. The ones AZ makes are good jerseys of modern material and fit and are accurate in design and replica of the 1959 they are avaialable and easy to produce. I own a bunch and great. Plus he good guy. The one the Ralph is auctioning is one of very very very few ever made, maybe a dozen... total. It is made of period accurate knit cotton and knit in the same manner as sweaters were in 1950s, on machines possibly that old. The detail is exact and other than the sizeing to fit modern fattness is the same as a sweater from that year. Also two HUGE pieces of info... the machines that made this sweater are no longer available, neither is one of the shades of cotton used to make it. So it can not be produced again, ever. and to own one of the dozen ever made is almost as rare as owning one of the few (2 or 3) originals left in existence.

Bragging about modestly mediocre money at ...74 no less..... and postflexing about vetran status is pathetic and doubtfull at worst.... at best its cringey AF..... as the kids say. Personally I lose a lot of respect when other vets play the vet card for such pathetic validation. Have some self respect, service speaks volumes when it doesnt have to be spoken of. Reminds me a story of the time some asshat cam into the hardware store i was working at some decades ago... he left his toolbox on the top of his truck and drove away, fell off, backed up and drove over it... came in claiming it was defective... should have stood up... demanded a new one. When he was politely declined... he left came back in with a leather vetrans vest on a vetran hat and a cane.... threw the biggest stink ive ever seen in a retail setting threw the toolbox at me. Moral of story = was not a vet.

So just to clarify for everyone, and help us understand you better... was it you or one of your kids that Hak had to finally break the news to that there was no way of ever getting on the team?

not sure its the "right" direction... but ND high School hockey is a sick animal that is not getting better, and the next few years of debate of "diluting talent/more teams=more opportunity" is not going to help. Its been proven thatvthe NDHSAA is not too interested in proactive approaches to bettering the environment. I see not only more of the top end talent dissapateing but also parents pushing their mediocrely talented (but still totally making the NHL) kids away from home into more "junior" options.

With the p.o.s. veterans on that team who felt they were "better" and "too good to be ran by a "college" guy".... there really was no chance. Add that a hextall megalomaniac who tried to control everything, which further nuetered the coach's ability, and a distrustful and spying assistant coach staff and it was a disaster. ON TOP OF THAT.... constant injuries and mediocre play by goalie after goalie after goalie.... AND HE STILL took the team to the playoffs a few times .... good lord philly should be thrilled to have a coach of Haks character and capability.... i guess they'll go back to winning cups like they did before Hak now.

kinda overkill.... lots of hockey options for people in the peg... add to that the time they spend on playing youth hockey, it can get tough to support yet another "pro" options

Hak is much better in a situation he controlled, in Philly he didnt really have the control he needed, Hex and the comcast people i believe basically felt they could and should control the narrative..... this undermined his ability to coacha nd connect with players.... who had a massive history of underperfoming and love the status quo. Chicago should trade Kane, fire Bowman hire Hak as GM/Coach.

Philly is the worst shythole of people and fans on the planet. Add to that a team owned now by a corporation.... and comcast at that... Good Lord just very bottom of the outhouse pit of the sporting world.
