That's a big win for that Davies club.

so, can theoretically draw from 7 high schools?? But in reality, it's not even about high schools it's the youth program numbers that matter, but if they have the numbers to field a Jr Gold and still have players who want to play but can't, that's absurd in the participation era of ND High school athletics to not field at the very least a North High JV squad this year, or last year to get the program rolling.

How many high schools do they have feeding into that team now... is it 3? High, North, .. any kids from Bishop Ryan or Burlington or elsewhere?

Into the break.... Central and Minot kinda the deals I expected.... clear picks. Maybe more parity for the 2-3 slots on both conferences than I expected. RedRiv/WF/FargoNorth Legacy/Mandan/Century/ Williston???/Jamestown???? (although they start playing a bit tougher competition in January) Although I think 4 slots will still be complete dice rolls at tourney time. Didn't expect so many absolute blowouts, in the East. Didn't expect as many 1 goal games in the west. Biggest early suprises: Goaltending at BHS a brightside. Goaltending at Red River a liability.

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
Frozen4sioux replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Got to get there to choke. I ike Berry, I'm a Beery guy, still but man, If the tourney is in Fargo again and UND isn't, again.. I'm not sure all the parts of this relationship can continue to relate. I think that's a fair POV. -

Alot to unpack there but 1)Nobody said ND high school hockey was anywhere close to AAA... but AAA isn't a certification, it's just a label. And anyone can pay to play with that label somewhere. A ton of shady people and organizations out there just label crap "AAA" and take people's money by suckering them into thinking it's the only way for their special little 2.3 ppg squirt 2 all-star clam nugget to make the next level. Good lord .. good example is anything produced in the "North land"... :"AAA" Mello yello explosion touney... ... more like low level B hockey coached by complete tools that never played a day of organized hockey. Just a label, just someone cashing checks... but hey get to keep the jersey right!? 2) No, all the money, camps and special skating coaches in the world won't change the outcome for 99% of kids in hockey. So many examples to illustrate this. Just ask Mastercard. 3) And will ALWAYS call out the hypocrisy of a: "ND based AAA so kids don't have to leave home" There is no possible full time ND based AAA/Tier 1 for ND players, There's selfishly wanting a Fargo based program so Fargo kids don't have to leave home or a GF based program so GF kids don't have to leave home or a Bismarck based.... etc.. The reality is not any of those places could produce a full team per year class to be a competitive "AAA" program without bringing in multiple players from outside ... which isnt "staying home". And the market for bringing together the ones that can and want to play at that level together in the fall and spring is, not without its faults, but covered and producing respectable results.

The key in uniting a divided group is refocusing the angst on a new target..... Berry may have found it with Larson.... the OT win and attitude presented for the coach could have been just what the doctor ordered. The hit on the tendy could have saved the season, for now.

Please research "crease". This will help.

Zero chance your kid makes Squirt AA if smoking hot mom ain't wearing a Canada goose

The worst possible thing is to have a marginally talented kid.. super easy to be suckered into "needing" to keep up the camps, teams, tourneys and "IT,s a SHOWCASE WE HAVE TO GO AAAAAAA scouts and coaches will be there AHHHHHHHHHGG!!!!" Gotta leave home, AaA elite premier is the ONLY way +!!!》☆☆ Quadruple mortgage the trailer and sell the family heirlooms and at the end.... its beer league

BAA Fargo 2020 PWAA WF 2021 I don't see results from 2022 2023or 2024 so cant say how many for sure, BAA PWAA hasnt been around all that long in its current format, but never she aint, and in its formats now its not exactly a large pool of teams Always been a proponent that GF does it right tho, especially when they have done 2 top even teams at the PW level whether that's AA or A. I think this year's GF BAA team is something I'd make a point to go watch.

Believe this references the boys teams But population must also be looked at in conjunction with youth club numbers and those numbers are a considerably better measuring stick. Club numbers as a ratio of population is also very interesting, or would be if such a table of info was compiled.

Please catch a pass. -signed the coach .... probably

Lot of talk about the owners kid being a big issue as well as in owner wants him to play, but he's not good, coaches say no, they gone. Omaha has been a dumpster fire of an organization in so many ways for so long. With the big change in CHL landscape, Ushl can't afford to let it continue.

Jamestown was tied with Legacy 2-2 with less than 4 to go in third and took a 5 min major, then scored shorthanded, and killed the remaining penalty time to upset the Sabers, who beat WF in OT last Saturday.

Last update I saw Jonny was doing auwasca trips in Bolivian sweatlodges or something..... Not really sure he's the answer to coaching durability quite yet

Certainly not unbelievable, rather it's expected Cancel culture is cyclical by the nature of needing a purpose to champion and the forever supply of a victim. There will be a time when the evils of making the Sioux name be abolished are taken up as a cause.

How How can anyone think softball was done "right" some of the most valuable real estate in or around UND and it's wasted on a nearly useless and pointless monstrosity of a softball stadium that's used for the least amount of time of any sport on campus? "stadium" good lord an empty seat receptacle, at best, waste of money, and resources, the parking spaces served the university better

1) Ouch 2) both are actually plausible

Facebook #Nowhiners totally celebrating the "WIN" ... ffs

Nothing about what has happened gives me any confidence the choices about to be made are going to improve
