By the comments on the story, it sure seems like this sentiment is by far the most prevalent. What I questioned about it is a highly probable and most likely the scenario here. Kids don't get their way, Mommy and Daddy will get the bad man in trouble. Why would anybody want to coach in this everybody gets a trophy, and every kid is the winner, soft AF helicopter parents era of every kid is the most special being in existence that can never do anything wrong? No thank you. Never again.

Its repulsive to wonder if its a parent is causing problems because their perception of the ability of their child doesn't live up to reality, and the drama they create tends to cause coaches to be flamed publicly and coaches are forced to realize its not worth it anymore and leave? I'm certainly not saying that's what happened here but asking the question if that was the scenario as it usually is...... is repulsive?
