  1. This is typically the indication it is time for a change.
  2. Good luck, but margin wasn’t that wide. UND played awful. Tarleton is a good squad, but certainly not much better than UND this season. Once again, good luck.
  3. That’s a foolish hill to die on. It was good because the competition was lesser the first half of the season. And this is a “what have you done for me lately” business. Always has been, always will be.
  4. Well it should. The OC was “good” when UND was playing poorer competition to start the season. That’s clear. There was then signifiant regression after that against the competition that UND needs to be good against to get to where they ultimately want to go. For example, today, UND gave the ball only 5 times to Gaven Ziebarth despite him averaging 9.4 yards per carry! On the flip side, they let Kaminski (coming off a concussion) run 11 times as their leading ball carrier. He was awful in the passing game. It’s time for a change (or at least open competition) at quarterback. There needs to be a different direction at offensive coordinator if we can secure someone that Schmidt has more faith in. The idea that they need a championship QB first and then see what OC does is really quite controversial … the QB play is largely a product of the work arranged by the OC/QB coach (same person here). The OC shares the blame 50/50 as far as I’m concerned. And having a better QB won’t address the critical play-calling concerns and personnel misuse…
  5. Nah… not really. Don’t have to keep putting that sh*t up on a pedestal.
  6. We can all get off the Simon train now … Great kid and person, but let’s all move on. Bright future to look forward to.
  7. Hope so bury those MF’s in fargo UND will have the better squad next year
  8. I’ve seen this movie before … All apart of the plan. The transition of power in ND football is well underway … History repeat itself as they say. The best predictor of the future is the past.
  9. It’s a QB/OC thing … I suspect there will be change/transition the last 6 games hurt the soul
  10. You don’t think the defense is playing better because of “coaching decisions”…. This team / program is much above what they were with Bubba
  11. His work at Wazzu this year was questionable at best or so I hear
  12. There’s still a chance, and that drive was entirely due to Z Amazing how effective yet simple handing the ball off to Ziebarth is
  13. Chicken or the egg Players or the coach Lets just settle on it takes both to be successful and both aren’t getting it done on offense today
  14. Competent coaching on defense, not on offense Offense: NSIC to MVFC Defense: PAC-12/Mountain West to MVFC these things are no surprise
  15. Yes. Please. So obvious. Not a top tier (or even mid tier) D1 coordinator. Who would’ve thought the jump from NSIC to MVFC would be too big? Anyone …
  16. Over this offensive philosophy. Yes need better players and the players to play better, blah, blah, blah, but things have NOT been ran right these past 6 weeks… damn
  17. Always a lot of woulda, coulda, shoulda around here … but I understand the sentiment.
  18. Offensive ineptitude is a major trend at this point … Folks can argue about the root cause, BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE
  19. You da man LFG Hawks fly high today - enjoy everyone
  20. <watch out walls> LFG! JYDs
  21. Agreed. This is a good take.
