  1. His poor players don't know either because they apparently ran it incorrectly. A lot of complex terminology for an offense that doesn't produce much ... (i.e., that's bad).
  2. Most offensive coordinators continue with what is working, even if it is after halftime; they make the defense show they can stop it. Now, with that said, the good offensive coordinators also never let a defense get comfortable and are always changing it up to keep defense off balance. Definitely a fine balance between doing what is working and also trying to keep defense on their toes.
  3. This is also why Montana is favored in this game, despite UND having a similar record and playing at home in the Alerus Center.
  4. Many of these predictions are indicative of Bubba deserving the axe. Let’s see how the real thing on Saturday goes ...
  5. Been true under Bubba. Damn disappointing I know that much.
  6. I’m afraid this is how Rudolph thinks, but it completely misses the point. When Santiago plays solely in the backfield, it takes the other top players off the field (Oliviera, Johannesson). UND’s offense would be harder to defend and, quite frankly, better if the offense regularly had #22 along with either #5 or #33 on the field at the same time. The depth chart situation at running back that UND has now doesn’t come around often. I sure hate to see UND and Rudolph waste this opportunity.
  7. I’m confident in the opportunity, not so much in the actual preparation and execution of the team. I worry the UND offense and special teams will find a way to screw the opportunity up.
  8. Crowd needs to be into it (which I admit doesn’t often happen in the Alerus Center unless prompted on 3rd down), but most importantly, UND defense needs to be ready to play! Get ‘em going, Bubba and Schmidt! Sack City grows by several
  9. Speaking of intellect, @Frozen4sioux, you spelled “for” incorrectly in your username. Nice try, though. I’m not too surprised as I don’t expect much from delusional “Sioux” fans being the nickname doesn’t currently exist anymore. Talk about living in the past. It’s time to change this website’s name as well.
  10. Wow could be a darn good atmosphere *IF* UND plays well. Get them ready, Bubba!!
  11. Neither ... Nice geographical spread there though. I like that you think widespread.
  12. Hope to see another reaction like this from the Griz at the end of the game this weekend. UND needs to be ready for a hard-fought game. Bubba and his staff need to put in the work and get the team to be ready for a tough one. GO HAWKS, GET THE WIN!
  13. I don’t disparage hard working people that have those jobs, I disparage you given your criticism directed at my life, which you know nothing about. Blind disparaging is somehow appropriate? Nice try at deflection though. Your only hope at this point is political correctness, so I give you credit for looking that direction.
  14. Not sure football is where he will end up. Basketball and baseball in the cards as well.
  15. Just realism after this weekend’s clunkers from Montana and Weber.
  16. Nice personal rip [sarcasm]. Get back to the till and pay attention for customers, it’s Monday morning
  17. Right, NFL isn’t popular overseas ... Get with the times old-timer!
  18. If Idaho State keeps up their impressive season, Sam Houston State continues to get back on track, and most importantly UND wins out with the only "tough" games being at home in the Alerus, then things will shape out nicely for a home playoff game in the Alerus Center.
  19. The numbers cannot be ignored. Football is where the real potential is. GO UND FIGHTING HAWKS FOOTBALL!
  20. I appreciate quality sports, not niche ones, but I do understand reality has to be embraced sometimes. Hockey, REA, and Grand Forks dynamic is what it is.
  21. Montana just lost to Portland State at home. UND is coming off a open week with both rest and preparation for the Griz. UND now plays Montana at home in Grand Forks, ND, at the Alerus Center. It should be damn obvious to anyone with a football brain that UND needs to win this home game. A UND loss can only be followed with discussion on who for UND should lose their job. Prepare, Work, Play, Win. Get it done, Hawks.
  22. I don’t care how world class the facility or scoreboard is if the sport played in the facility isn’t world class itself. Upper Upper Northern Hemisphere class maybe? But hey, priorities ...
  23. Great excuse for UND fans if UND plays like sh*t on October 13th? UND better go 6-0 to finish the season if they’re worth a damn. This Big Sky Conference is horsesh*t. UND needs to win out. Thank God for the move to the Missouri Valley. UND needs to play with the big boys to toughen up. Nice to see Idaho State look like the real deal though.
  24. One must drink excessively to watch and tolerate the “sport” of ice and a puck (aka hockey). Hooray for alcohol in the REA!
