Myself and all brothers went to Central and my niece currently attends Central through open enrollment. Her decision was made mainly by where her friends were going. Nothing to do with sports or academics. Everybody has there thing that sways them towards one.

He had to hire somebody. There was no way he was going to deal with such controversial issue. Hire somebody and hide behind them. I'm sure it's even in the job description.

Exactly, for me it doesn't have much to do about his lack of support for the nickname. It's just his lack of leadership and pickaboo way he deals with situations. I can't think of one time where he got up in front of a crowd/news conference or whatever where he knows he's going to be challenged. I'm just not impressed and I've seen enough. I rarely call for anyone to be fired (not even Muss) but this ones a obvious one.

The nickname issue for Kelley was a no win. No matter what he did people would get angry I think he came in with the mindset to get rid of the name which isn't what I wanted but aleast he had a goal in mind. What I have a problem with is his lack of leadership. Case in point would be the deal with the EERC director. There's other situations as well but that was very public and poorly handled.

Regardless of wether you agree with the sign or not they shouldn't have been booted. I don't think REA allows any type of signs that size but all that needed to be done is take the sign away. Maybe the students have different rules about this? Who knows. As far as Firing our president I agree. He's shown a real lack of leadership with his faculty and as far as I can see he's done nothing but stand back and watch things happen until he's forced to take action. Then when he does do something he runs and hides from the media. A man in his position needs to get out in front of things and deal with problems before they boil. He's a total reactionary. Nice guy but wrong guy for the job.

Why does this need to be spread all over this board. The fact that a 20/21 year old kid got caught with weed or in other matters a 20 year old gets caught with alcohol. This kid just got caught. 80% of the college students do either one. He'll get his punishment and things will move on. He didn't hurt anybody. Let's not sit here on our ivory towers and point down on the kid. He's human and a normal young man. Granted he needs to keep his nose clean cause repeat offending is not going to have a positive result for him. What I'm trying to say is give him a break and every other kid that gets a little off course.

Central wins for sure. Wether or not they put up a big number is a question. No way Minot scores more than a goal in a tight game. Central's goalie is too solid for Minot to penetrate. 4-1 Central. I agree with Ray RR might have been the only ones to have the fire power to beat Central in the big one.

You're right and the only case I can think of with UND would be Joe Schobert. He didn't sign cause he was a PWO and then after his summer Shriners game or whatever they have out in Wisconsin he gets offered by the Badgers and we lost him. A very rare incident. I think that this might end up being a real thing at the FBS level though.

I actually believe some of this. I don't think to many of the Iowa State's and Colorado State's are interested in playing NDSU. I don't blame them. Now if NDSU can get games playing SEC and Big Ten teams I doubt that happens either. It'll be interesting to see what FBS teams they do get to schedule them in the near future. If Alvarez had it his way no FBS teams would play FCS teams. That fat prick.
