I thought about both Reed and Georges, totally forgot about Johnson, actually had Harris before Brown then switched and can really see any of those guys competing for 2 spots. I just didn't see it from Studsrud. Although I've yet to see him live so who knows.

Not sure what thier schedule for 2016 is but if the dates line up thats a possibility. I really doubt that they willingly play UND on the road. They didn't seem to excited to agree to the two home games. I'm skeptical that they will pursue a game in the Alerus. Although, it might turnout to be the best option for them. Also if NDSU is tested on September 19th or heaven fordid lose. It would be more likely they schedule Valley City State in 2016 than UND.

Never going to happen. Although, it would be cool. NDSU would need that game to be a home game to make it 6 on the year.

Norm Mcgee (sp.) back in the 80's ran track and Football and I believe Javen Butler currently run track as well? I remember Caulfield. I think he played maybe one shift in hockey at UND. Went on to win 2 cups.

I think what everybody is excited about with Grady is his physical attributes. We all know 9-man ND football isn't Ohio high school football. There will be a learining curve for Grady but we don't see physical abilities like his very often. Kliensasser was the last one (maybe only) to come through this University with this amount of potential.

Apparently there is a good reason that Bubba didn't release any tape on him until signing day.

Very good point I could care less if there is a star by his name or not. Look at the two star players we've had. Some have worked out but really none of them have been superstars.

Not to say either will be our QB of the future but, Hartness looks alot better right now than Heidlebaugh at QB. With that being said I think the Rugby kid will play at a different position and do very well. Another kid everyone is talking about is Lawrence out of Moorhead. Atleast which side of the ball he'll end up on. I thought Oliviera was a lock to be a starter his Sophomore year but I think Lawrence can beat him out.

Between him, Rodgers and Greer they all are on the same plain as far as I can see. There is a few projects on there that will be interesting to see how they workout.

Not that anyone should care about what I think. My top 5 recruits are like this. 1. Elijah Grady-legit chance to play in the NFL 2. Iwarri Smith-very versatile could play both sides of the ball. 3. Mason Bennett-great size and speed for a OLB 4. John Santiago-speed, speed and more speed with some good vision and some little guy toughness. 5. Robert Hilton-something about him. I just see him being a all-American in the future. Great height for a DB.

You're right we offered 7 kids out of Wisco and 8 in ND. This year it just wasn't to be this year in Wisconsin.

I think you're talking abouot Casey Young. Unless, we have two WR's leave the team to pursue being a cop. Which is possible.

Looks like he's going to BYU or Kansas or Blinn CC. He's all over the map. Can't tell what he's doing. Edit: Actually it looks like he might be enrolled at Blinn CC now and looking to transfer to a FBS after next falls semester (football season).

I get that he needs to play to his audience. So I understand that he's just doing his job, but with that being said I think we need a GF based UND guy doing our football games. I have nothing against Jack, but in the end he's a Fargo guy/former NDSU athlete. He doesn't fit in being the UND football voice.

I'm guessing some of these kids will do a public signing in the afternoon at thier schools. James Hendricks is doing it this afternoon in Bemidji with a live radio spot.

Did some digging looking for something on Troy Hansen today and found out a few UND connections. Hansen plays for canadien school that competes against all US high schools one being Brothers Rice who Chris Carter played for last year. Also, Brady Oliveria played for the Canada Prep team last year. Which means he played against Chris Carter last year. I suppose some of you already knew this but it's kind of interesting.

I see Webb has a cast on. That explains why he's no longer playing basketball. Good to have him on board.
