If I read the boxscore right, Eaves' goal was a shorthanded effort, but I agree, ZPar with a hattrick and an assist should have been player of the game.

So who says they have to lose the Bowls? Why can't the places the Bowl games are played just host a playoff game? Some Bowls are more prestigious than others already, so why not put the bigger bowls towards the end of the playoff schedule. Does anyone know how many conferences there are in Div I-A football? Are there that many that they couldn't put them into regions and take the top 2 or even 4 from a region for playoffs? We all knew it was a matter of time before there was a BIG outcry about the BCS. The past few years, it has been pretty much right on, IMO, but this year, I HAVE to question how Oaklahoma could be in the title game. Didn't UND's players basically tell Chris Fournier to "get lost", prior to last season? I gues if Vanek is a problem, couldn't the other memebers of the team do/say something about it? I will admit I was very surprised by Vanek's lack of production in November at the Ralph, but if he is such a "problem", why don't his teamates get on his case? C'mon. Are you not listening to what we are saying? Are you not listening to the NCAA? Granted, I am not in your position, I am not the one who feels slighted by the NCAA's decision, but just back up and look at it this way. UNA won 13 games. 10, 10, 10!!!, of those teams had losing records!!! That means less than 25 percent of your opponents had a winning record. UND played 11 games, lost to a PLAYOFF team, EARLY in the year, on the ROAD, and 5 of the teams we beat had winning records. In case you need me to do the math, that is between 40 and 50 % of UND's opponets were winners, compared to < 25% of UNA's. So quit with the "NCAA is trying to punish us for being so GOOD" crap and just accept the fact that you got beat by a better team.

Let's look at it this way, in practical terms: If Rodriguez does have an accomplice, then Dru could very well still be alive, because that person might still be holding her. If he did not have one, the chances of her being alive are slim... God, I am still holding out on the hope they can find her alive.

Sorry, I was in a hurry. The MIAA, despite losing both of its playoff games, gets my vote. I am a UND/NCC fan all the way, but that conference had a 5-way tie for first place. The way I read the poll was "toughest from top to bottom". I wan't comparing them to the NCC or to ANY other conference, I was just looking at the conference itself. And in THAT aspect, if 5 teams tie for the conference championship, that implies stregth and parity from top to bottom in that conference.

I would have to say the conference that Pitt. State belongs to, the one where 5 teams tied for the championship would have to be the strongest one this year.

Somebody explain this to me. Are you looking for mascots that are SINGULAR, not PLURAL, ones that do not end in "s", or both? There are alot of mascots listed by people here that are PLURAL, but DO NOT END in "s". "Bison", can that not be plural OR singular? "OrangmEn" is plural, "OrangemAn" is singular. Same with the "MidshipmEN", that is also plural. "Fighting Irish", that is in reference to a group of people, so I am not sure about that one. But just because something does not end in "s", it doesn't actually mean that it is a singular noun.
