The United Marching Truckers Conglomerate and Isolated Singing Uberdweebs will pound the ND ag school. Seriously, what schools are talking about? If you mean Minnesota, they are not UMTC. Only their mail says Twin Cities on it. They go by U of M, the U, or Minnesota. I suppose ISU is Iowa State, but I'm just guessing at what shcools you're talking about. It could be Idaho State.

When the people of Grand Forks voted for the Aroura (its original name for those that don't know), it wasn't necessarily going to be for UND football. Yes it could house football, but UND had never signed on with the project when it was voted on. The place was supposed to be an events/convention center that would be able to house football. The Alerus is fortunate to have Sioux football there. I would think UND is also fortunate, because this weekend we get home fb. That would have never happened if we were still outside. The Alerus has a lot of work to do to make the place UND friendly. Lennon has a hard time convincing kids that its our homefield, because you can't tell unless it's game day. And our national title banner looks pathetic. How much would it cost to adverstise on those rotating scoreboard ads? I can't believe they've never been able to fill all of those.

Bubba is a class act. I've never heard of anyone not liking the guy. He likes to laugh and tell jokes and at the same time is very smart. He has the perfect qualities to schmooze. I'm guessing he just doesn't come across that way in a serious meeting with an AD.

I'm just trying to find the best in the situation. I'm glad these guys get to play for USA. In a weird way I think I'd still be happy even if it took half of our team and we could only play two lines. We just have to deal with the fact that the WCHA doesn't have a clue how to schedule. Who is in charge of scheduling anyways?

My bad on the baseball stadium. I just assumed Fargo/Redhawks owned it. Out of curiosity, where did NDSU get the money for a joint venture. Was it fb revenue or an alumni drive or something else? I'm curious, because I keep hearing rumblings from people to make sure UND doesn't use public funds (i.e. state money for the school) to build their sports complexes.

I like how she uses her web counter to proclaim how many people hate UND. I was curious what it was, so I visited. I don't hate UND or think they are a fraud. Of course Twamley does like to take the broomstick out quite a bit...

Starting at the beginning of this year and even through this year could any of us truly have predicated the Sioux being in this position. I would have to think that the same goes for the Lions. Either way this should be a great game and both teams have had one tremendous season.

Granted Hyslop is old, but we have a new arena on the way (that vball will use as well). And we aren't going DIAA. How about you guys? I'm serious here, because I've been to your bball arena and it isn't any better than Hyslop. If you want to be DI you have a lot of improvements to make to facitilities. Tough to compare baseball, because neither owns the field and that field wasn't built for the bison. As for the SSI stuff. I'm glad that UNA's having to come here has proved why we can't play the thundering turd. I always have bragged about the rivalry when I've traveled and I'd love to see it continue, but it isn't worth the risk.

You are NOT a DI school. You're still in DII. BTW, you'll always be considered a DIAA school no matter what sports you play in DI.

I remember that fight when ESPN showed it. It happened like three years ago. I believe they got together behind the net. Turgeon might have thrown a few, but he didn't land any. If I remember correct, Hrkac took one uppercut swing that knocked Turgeon out. I'm sure the crowd was demanding there money back, because the fight didn't last long.

What will be nice about that weekend, is that the rest of the guys get a chance to prove they can do it without Murray and Parise. It will be fun to see some different lines as well.

Anyone have any idea how many titles Moorhead has? I know at one time they were the largest school in Minnesota, but they just can't win at any sport. I thought I heard a RUMOR that Moreland was looking at UND after a year of juniors.

Isn't UNA's home field actually owned by a high school? I thought I remember someone explaining that to me in 2001.

When you check that site, you better open your eyes. OR you could read an earlier post of mine where I told you that DII hockey does not have a national tournament. They are essentially not recognized by the NCAA. DIAA IS a different classification than DI. To be DI in football you have to average so many fans. Plus it's a different amount of scholarships. Therefore, a different division. Really it's closer to DII football than to DI and thus should be DIIAA.

Odd, but doesn't Fargo/West Fargo have 3 high school hockey teams. I'm sure there are some Thundering Turd fans on those teams that like hockey. Since I'm writing this hockey info on a fb thread I'll say this. There are 7 DII hockey schools and no championship. DII hockey is non-existant, therefore the NCAA has to let us play DI. BTW Crookston is one of the DII hockey teams.

I was just in Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa this past weekend and my cousin found a bar called McDuffy's. I think. I guess it is where all the Montana fans go to watch the games.
