Sounds like their RB Tennessee is their offense. Leads the team in receiving as well. Boy if we can shut him down in the running game they may start to question themselves offensively just like UNA seemed to do last week.

If this is true it is really low brow for the GVSU fans. They pulled the same crap in 2001. When I was with the band they would wander around making a bunch of noise to get us in trouble with the hotel. I guess they must feel that their team isn't good enough to win and feel the need to keep our guys awake all night to get an advantage.

I don't have a problem with a new arena, but why is the state paying any money towards this? It's something for Duluth, and they should come up with local taxes and private donations to pay for it.

I love that Duluth is coming to the NCC and taking our coaches just makes it that much more of a rivalry. If they hire one of our guys it is immediately a big game for both teams. Even during the hcokey broadcast last night they were saying how Duluth has really turned into a heated rival for us. I think it's great that we can play them in conference in every sport. It was a classless move announcing the coaching finalists right before the championship game.

Good point. With the expanded field, it might allow a team to play someone in D1AA. Isn't the GLIAC moving into our region? Personally, that means we'll be struggling for playoff spots again, and so for us to play DIAA would not be good. The NCC just doesn't seem to get the respect of the regional committees. I had never realized that if you expand the playoffs for one gender you have to for the other. This just doesn't make any sense when fb only is allowing 24 teams and vb and softball will expand to 64. I don't think it should be number of people, but rather a percentage of teams that play the sport.

I think Blaiser was spoiled with Karl and now there's something with every goalie that he doesn't like.

I heard that UND is taking two (i hope thats right) charter planes down tomorrow. I also heard that there is a waiting list of people that wanted to go. UND called around and couldn't find anymore charter planes. Sounded like we could've filled two more. I guess the 50 hour roundtrip bus rides didn't work out for most people. For the GVSU fan that was saying we have traveling easy (too lazy to find the quote), each person pays a good chunk to fly on that plane. It arrives in the morning and leaves right after the game. The busses aren't much better and we have almost twice as long as you to travel. If you've ever sat in a bus for 25 hours and then hopped back on a day later to do it all over again, you'll never want to look at one again. Also, you guys could get together and rent busses instead of vans.

So Wisco had a power outage and they couldn't finish the game. I was watching when the TV went out. I just assumed it was the satellite. I believe only around 5 minutes were left. Do they finish this game tomorrow night or call it quits?

I think you stick with Parise. He played better. It's a big game tomorrow and then we have our xmas tourney for Brandt to get back in.

Fuher will be in tomorrow night. Blais not pleased with forwards or d. Will be taking some out tomorrow and play others. Didn't think Brandt was looking sharp. Doesn't want the fans to yell "shoot" during the power play when the team is working the puck, because the guys get antsy.

Wisco up 3-1 after 2. Mankato looks terrible. Even when they have the puck it seems like Wisco is in control. Mankato is also very chippy. A lot of stickwork. Missed the Wisco goals, but they are big and like to hit.

Too many D mistakes for us. I'm hoping that this is just a product of not playing and that we'll look much sharper towards the end of the game. Good thing Reich did his Siembida impression to keep us in this game.

Maybe on period breaks if you close out of the radio and then re-initialize it, you might stay a little closer in the feed. You'll miss some action, though.
