How many times did UNA run in the first half? Eventually all the passing will lead to a turnover.

Sounds like we'll be facing a lot more blitzes this half. We may even want to move to the shotgun.

I think we are playing very well, but I also think everyone underestimated us.

Size is paying dividends offensivelly, but I'm worried about our defense. They are playing great now, but I expect them to be better in the second half. With yet another 3 and out by our defense, I wish we would've gone after that last field goal a little faster.

If we know this UND team, the second half will be a completely different game. That's what scares me.

Thanks again Chris. You're a class act. I guess I was thinking the worst as far as steriods. Hopefully we'll know more in the near future. It probably was something minor like a painkiller. Good passing teams don't need to rely on one guy and that's why I don't think it should affect your offense to much. A slow start will probably be the worst of it. I have to take a four hour California teacher's exam tomorrow, so I'll miss the first half of the game at least. Of course the ending is all you really need to listen to when it comes to Sioux football games.

Another one: Last year at the first game during the xmas tourney, a puck hit the seat in front of me with the flat side. It left a puck indent in that chair that lasted all last season. Thank goodness I whiffed while trying to catch that puck and I'll be checking to see if the mark is still there at this years xmas tourney.

When I was a kid at the old REA I was sitting behind the net next to the goal judge and zamboni entrance. (Them was the lean years). A puck was deflected and was traveling really fast, because it hit one of the upper beams towards the end of the stadium and came straight back towards the ice. It whizzed past my ear and hit the glass, leaving a mark. It then proceeded to bounce back off the glass and hit me. I picked it up and handed it to the even younger kid next to me. Kids should always come first. Unless they are pushing and shoving and being rude.

How good is the Mooneyham compared to the other receivers? This whole situation is really dissapointing, because now this particular game is marred. And if he is a top flight or one of the best recievers, it makes you wonder how UNA's record might have looked without him all year. Assuming he's been using since the beginning. I'm speculating here and am looking for some UNA insight since I don't know a whole lot about your team. This does cast an ugly shadow on this game. So late in the week for suspensions to happen as well. Will this affect UNA's psyche?

I think the Alerus gets most, if not all concessions during UND football. We all know that $3 for a 20 oz bottle of pop that cost 10 cents to make is rediculous. The Alerus could do great business with more concerts. This is what bugs me the most about them. For some reason they think people won't go to indoor concerts during the summer, so they don't schedule any. Then for the most part they choose to not schedule any during the fall. I guess the Fargodome is in the same bind as far as football. IMO they have to stick with football. Sure concerts bring in more money, but they are unstable. You can't count on big name concerts the way fb is there year after year. Like someone said earlier, UND will just go back to Memorial if demands more money.

Get out of the past (this includes the titles you won around 15 years ago). People are much more tolerable in this day and age, but obviously you still hold some inner child resentment. Seek a shrink.

I would imagine that if the two players are suspended, it would make little difference on the game. Unless of course it is a "superstar." IMO, it kind of puts a black eye on this UNA team. Maybe it'll just be some third string player and maybe it'll be a starter, but this will make people wonder. Either way 3 out of 6 is a scary %. Even after the reduction 2 of 6 is scary. I'm not saying I think the rest of the team is doing drugs, but it is odd that the ones that are using were tested. I wonder if it was illegal drugs or I'm guessing NCAA "illegal" performance enhancing drugs. Will the NCAA test even more of the team now?
