  1. Try closer to 3 minutes ahead of us.
  2. sounds like the palmo/lunbohm/massen line is playing pretty well tonight.
  3. Anyone else have their internet radio go out. My is really bad all of a sudden.
  4. Somehow I always knew it was you. dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty Dirk. Did I get them all. Hurry up and graduate. It's hard typing dirty that many times.
  5. Last year (maybe two years) some UND sorority girls were flashing those Girls Gone Wild cameras at spring break. Maybe they'd like to be in the calender as well.
  6. Just saw that CC has 9 players with the flu. Wonder if any will have to give it a go since they have so many injuries. Looks like Wisco will be sick for next weekend.
  7. Who are you? That was my year as well. I'm Kyle Hanson BTW. EGF swept GF in all boys sports that year. 1998. Edit: EGF didn't lose a single game in hockey or bball to GF. I don't remember FB being played between the towns that year.
  8. Place does look dead. Tech really plays great D in the slot. They are small but move up the ice well. Just can't shoot. Minnie just came off a powerplay where TWICE Hircsh tried to one-time a pass from the goal line. No wonder they can't score.
  9. First round of WCHA is the first weekend of spring break. Final Five is the second. Normally.

Nope. Nada. Nothing ever comes on.

I think dagies is right. I believe in the exhibition or non-conference games a few years ago there were two refs on the ice.
  12. Maybe you shouldn't go to the games.
  13. I believe that you can only take a certain number of players on a trip. Didn't we try to fly someone in for a game because another player got injured and we weren't allowed to dress him? I believe this was a few years ago.
  14. Earlier this year (was it Yale?) when Blais was talking about all the injuries before a game he said that Palmo had gotten injured. He also said he felt really bad for Palmo, because every time he starts playing well some fluke injury happens. I remember a few years ago DeMarchi ran him into the boards from behind and he missed most of the season with a neck injury. DeMarchi got a 2 game suspension. The way Blais was making it sound was that Palmo was playing great in practice and deserved to be playing in a game. I have no problem with a coach playing someone who works hard in practice. Hopefully it lights a fire in the player thats sitting. BTW, I heard from very reliable sources a few years ago that Palmo was Blais's whipping boy on the team.
  15. I think the Bison made the smart decision for this season. They new they were going DIAA and started to play a schedule that represents that. You have to start new rivalries somewhere (though I doubt Montana wants to play again ). As for UND, don't do it. Playing NDSU is a big game for the state and its fans, but I'd rather win championships. Playoff-wise it would do too much damage to lose or win. Keep this in mind: We will have a conference and championship to play for while all NDSU will have is the game against us (as far as importance).

I'm debating on getting this for the weekend. It says the Concordia game is a free preview and has a direct link. For some reason it pulls up the new window with the score to SCSU, but won't play the Concordia game. Am I missing something?
  17. I was thinking of more of a rotation thing. I don't like a forward up there either. But maybe where Parise moves up and a D-man moves down and vice versa. Something. Anything just to get some movement.

and now you can have twice as many bad calls.
  19. Somebody mentioned earlier that Parise could/should play point (couldn't find the quote when I scanned for it). I like this idea. Even if it is for a little bit. Rotate a defenseman in front and keep Parise on top. Powerplays tend to be run from up top. Our best playmaker is Parise. We know he can shoot, but he could also shoot/pass towards other players. And after watching him against Vanek, we know he can play defense. Powerplays work best when someone penetrates and causes the defense to move (people might think I'm talking bball). We don't want to give up shorties, but it just seems we are too afraid of giving them up.
  20. Lueck returning punts could be the scariest thing Pitt. St. sees. Special teams could become the most important aspect of this game.
