It's changed over the years by the look of it....single division up to the early 90's irrc. By the looks of a few schools like Roseau and Brrmidji they don't want your stinkin' JV trophy...go big or go home! Respect!! Attendance at those wed/thurs afternoon games have to be kinda sparse? If your Mahtomedi and St Cloud Cahtreal would you rather have played at 11am or noon on Wednesday in front of ________ fans (assuming those noon games are sparse?) at the x or in front of 6500 people in Duluth at Amsoil Arena on a Friday eve? If you had the "super regionals" in Bemidji, Duluth, St Cloud, and Mankato those mini tourneys would / could be done staggered over 3 or 4 days so no games overlap (like current format but you would have bad start times too like current format has with those early wed/thurs games) or all first round games are done over 2 days by starting all 8 first round games at 6pm Friday eve and night game 30 mins after the first game at each venue and 2nd round game the next night at 7pm. Then the next week you got your final 4 at the X....two games friday and title game saturday night primetime 7pm. Get a Cup made and ONE school gets it for the year and their names engraved on there forever like the other famous cup out there.... your welcome again.

IF Grand Forks wouldn't have added on the new gym and pool at Central in the late 80's or early 90's (and turned it into condos) AND not added onto RRHS (and made it a middle school) in 1993 and decided to build 1 large High School somewhat centrally located north and south near the interstate we could have one hockey (and others of course) team that could abviously compete against bigger schools across the river..... and the nickname would'be been Grand Forks High School ___________________________? AND this would've meant the "can't have 2 schools named roughriders" wouldn't have been around and UND would more than likey be the UND Rough Riders!! rip siouxvolley!

didn't put that on there bc any school willing to jump up from d2 to keep the summit at 7 or above is good enough for me..i was just curious if people prefer a couple of no name schools in a different time zone a thousand miles away or two closer schools in larger markets within driving distance...or just go back to d2 and join the nsic... either or.

fenton has a chance to make/keep the summit a "strong" league if he uses all his "bullets' to keep and recruit current and future members..... if he adds the utah schools it means he's just here for the interim bc he doesn't want his conference to fold bc he couldn't find/keep 7 schools with x amount of common varsity sports....

I watched the Minny Hockey Tourney for the first time....here's how you make it bigger and better. 1 Division...no more A and AA....just 16 sections. On March 7-8 you have 4 three game tourneys in Bemidji, Duluth, St. Cloud, and Mankato. Either seed 1-16 or use the old 1-8 A and AA sections.....Section 1 A v Section 1 AA and so forth. The remaining 4 (final our and frozen 4 are already taken so Frosty 4?) go the X and play 3 games on March 14th and 15th. And Minnesota creates a traveling cup ...the Mayasich, Brooks, or Mariucci Cup made of the finest silver the state can produce and have it rival other "cups" around the world.... Once champ....one Cup. your welcome (again)

funny finish to me and my bro's weekend outside bemidji.........struggled with the ktsp app thru firestick for the first day and a half...drops and lags and buffers..... then we tried airplay on saturday noon game.........same crap as above 8 minutes left in he 2a title game and they both just crap the bed..... " hey bro....why don't we try that 6 dollar hd antennae behind the tv and see if that works?" HD, perfect and no lag.....can't make this stuff up !!!!!!!!
