Yes, it's on a bunch of channels-NESN, MASN, FSOH, FSCIN, FSDET, CSNCA, FSNORTH, FSWIS.
Puck drop has gotten push back again. Now, it's a 4:40 central time start. Michigan and Michigan State will follow tonight.
I hear you runaroundsioux but when we went to the UND/Bemidji State women's game a few weeks ago, we noticed that the officials' names were on their backs, that's why I mentioned it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that.
I read in the Gazette that there's talk of a possible CC/DU game next season at Coors Field as part of the Avalanche outdoor game.
Outdoor games are gimmicky and difficult to watch but I'd probably go anyway just to take in the experience.
I'd like to see the names on the back of the officials' sweaters. Hockey East, for one, still does it as do the Women's WCHA. Can anyone explain to me what the NCHC is afraid of? Are they afraid the officials' feelings might get hurt by hecklers?
DU 3, CC 0, final. CC played a hard game but lack DU's talent.
Last week notwithstanding, during the past two months, CC leads the nation in moral victories.
Despite being down 1-0, that was a solid period for CC. Particularly the last five minutes as CC really put on some good pressure and got pucks to the net and traffic in front of Gillette.
I'm at World Arena anxiously awaiting the start of the CC/DU game. After last week's beat down and the "spirited" week of practice that the Tigers supposedly had, it'll be interesting to see how they respond.
(Oh, and the last meeting a few months ago, DU won 8-1).
It's been my understanding that the NCAA would prefer that the #1 seeds ultimately make it to the FF. Because a one-and-done effectively gives a lower seeded team a better opportunity of advancing (hot goalie, lucky bounce, etc), doesn't it make sense to do a format where the first round be a best of three series at the higher seed's barn? Not to mention the guarantee of more $$ as those barns would likely be sold out?
I finally got a chance to watch last Saturday's game between the Gophers and Badgers.
So after that knee-on-knee hit by the Badgers player, would Lucia now consider the rivalry in similar terms as UND?
I went to the Beanpot championship about five years ago....helluva great time! Lots of creative cheers back and forth between the NU and BU student sections! BU scored three short-handed goals that year to win it.
