Yah that comment made me cringe a little bit too. Probably something you don’t want to say publicly, even if you believe it to be true. That said, I don’t imagine any coach literally allowing a guy to not work hard and expect to get all the easy looks and scoring opportunities. I think guys like Nick Halloran, Trey Bradley, Andrew Farney, and Mason Bergh wouldn’t put up with that.

According to the guys on the team, Wilke has the hardest shot. I had also heard Coach Haviland say that he was one of the best players on the team last season during practice. I hope Wilke has a break out season this year (just not against North Dakota)

No...DU and North Dakota will be playing at Maggot Arena, they just need some colder weather in order to freeze the ice.

I heard Washington’s QB might be a Heisman candidate.

How come UND doesn’t have the names on the backs of the jerseys?
-
Our good friends at Letsgodu never miss an opportunity to take a shot at UND, even while they’re making fun of the CC Tigers. As a CC alum, I did get a chuckle or two out of this satire. https://letsgodu.com/2018/08/28/top-10-reasons-colorado-college-is-moving-to-a-smaller-campus-arena/

So why is UND still playing in the Big Sky this season when the other teams will be playing in the Summit?
-
I’m guessing Princeton is bringing back much if not all of their core from last season?

Did someone say, holy smokes?!?!
-
Nice....still need to book that.

If anyone’s planning on doing the UND @ Canisius College trip, let me know and I can put you in touch with the guy who handles ticket sales. He can hook you up directly, bypassing Ticketmaster and saving you a bunch of dough on fees. Tickets are super cheap! I just got mine for the weekend series.

Regardless of what the administration may have done or not done, Miller has permanently painted herself as a troublemaker. I don’t know why any program at any level would take a chance with her by taking on that baggage.

Given the timing of CC athletic director Ken Ralph’s departure, it’s indicative of the manner in which he held his post at CC. This article was way too kind, IMO, in addressing Ralph’s tenure as AD. For those of you who read this and inquire about the part of the story that talks about Scott Owens’ departure, apparently, he wasn’t even given the courtesy of being told to his face that he was being let go. No wonder Owens hates the school so much. https://www.csbj.com/2018/08/22/opinion-colorado-college-needs-to-work-on-diplomacy/

I have long thought that Schloss has the greatest job in the world-he gets to watch the team play in every single game, home or away, and the company picks up the tab. I’d kill for that gig.

The last Husky logo looked as if it were drawn by a third grader.

http://www.gonu.com/news/2018/8/13/northeastern-athletics-reenergizes-visual-identity-with-new-brand-and-logos.aspx Thoughts on the new Northeastern logo? @MafiaMan care to opine? I’ll really be interested to see what the new sweaters will look like.

The Schwartz brothers were recruited by UND but ended up committing to CC because they were one of the first schools to show interest. As happy as I was to have them at CC can you imagine those UND teams in 2011 and 2012 with them on it? That would’ve been sweet.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say there’s a hint of sarcasm here, no?
