I’m doing a write up on the CC Tiger season preview with some comments about the incoming freshmen along with transfer Chris Wilke. I’m reaching out to the Siouxsports group to get some thoughts/commentary/feedback on Wilke. Any thoughts about his game, skating ability, shot, etc would be most helpful. Thanks!

What could potentially hold Western back is their reliable lack of discipline; year in and year out, they take a lot of penalties. What could potentially hurt CC, is their coaching. Haviland makes a lot of head scratching moves. So if he stays out of the way, they should be fine.

Nick Halloran???) or their analysis of UND playing a dump and chase system (yes, they played a slower style last season but that was a function of the team’s lack of skill players and finishers) and their analysis of them versus St. Cloud.

Me too! Plus, got my CC/DU tix as well. This might actually be the year that CC could win the Gold Pan. CC will have a deep and talented junior and senior class and DU will be very young (but talented).

Considering I park my car near the DU campus with CC license plates and a big “North Dakota hockey” sticker, and nothing’s ever happened, they’re not bad fans. Knock on wood...

By far, my favorite road series of the season....the electricity and intensity in the air at Magness Arena is really high. Pio fans don’t like the sea of green that shows up but I guess my response to that would be, perhaps the Denver community ought to support the DU hockey program a little bit better and get off their couches and get on over to the arena.

Single game tickets for DU hockey went on sale this morning. If you’d like to go to the UND series there in February, you’re advised to get them sooner rather than later as this series always sells out.
