Schneider was honored to be named the captain. Knows all the former great players to wear the "C" and you could tell he really felt good about it. Talked about how he played in hockey with Peluso and how Peluso had kicked the crap out of a lot of people so he was a little concerned when Prpich and him squared off. Definitely thought Prpich won the fight. He thought the fight was a big turnaround for the Sioux, got them into the game more and really gave them a push. Thought Parise played very well in goal and that he really made a lot of key saves that kept them in the game.

This weekend will be a real test. Not only is it a night game, but it is a tough place to play and we are coming off a real emotional win. Our offense needs to step up right away in this game and get something done. We need a strong first half and set the tone of the game. Getting down early cannot happen.

I think Wilson was the choice Lennon had to go with. It will be interesting to see how he performs in his first couple of series and how quick Lennon might pull him if he doesn't produce.

At least someone around the NHL is giving him a little respect, since 16 other teams failed to do so in the draft.

Hennen was in Philadelphia for a convention, that is why he was out of town. I'm hoping he will be back to do the games, but I haven't officially heard anything yet.

I love those "cupcakes" from BC. If UND was playing a non-conference schedule against NHL teams, the gopher allegiance would still say our schedule is weak.

Regardless of how we feel about INCH, I don't think they have near as much coverage and depth as USCHO. USCHO is impartial and it is too bad ESPN will be getting their college hockey news from the Enquirer.

I agree that the Wilson play was the play of the game. It was obviously overshadowed by the field goal but a fourth down conversion like that by a backup quarterback was really impressive. wilson gets the start in my mind also.

When thinking about the game, look at how big the two extra points missed were along with stopping their two point conversion before the second half. Not to second guess SCSU, but I didn't like the decision of them going for 2 after scoring that touchdown right before half. Easy to say that now. Nice to see them actually throw the ball to Lueck, although he dropped three balls, he is an exciting player who makes things happen. I hope they continue to utilize a playmaker like that.

The midwest regional poll is the rankings that will determine what four teams get in the playoffs at the end of the year.

The parking that the Al bought over the summer is for the spaces lost to the new hotel. There will not be a gain in spaces once the hotel is built.

I heard that for first two years, the refrigeration system was really messed up and that they didn't know they had a problem with it until looking at it more closely.

sounds like there were some problems with the webcast. Tim H. and the radio team had problems all night with audio difficulties from what I heard. So the webcast had problems and the regular radio broadcast has problems, sounds like they need to have a training camp next year before the first game to iron out their offseason wrinkles.

Too warm for me during the summer, but very enticing when it is middle of january up here in nodak.
