Goon That article on the goaltending "curse" at UND was one of the most inaccurate articles I have ever read on the subject of college hockey. Karl Goehring was injury prone and played a bad game against Denver according to their article. If we can get another guy who was injury prone like that and played bad games in the postseason, who knows how many NC's we could win. INCH has absolutely no credibility in my opinion.

I know that you can get CSTV on DirecTV, but has anyone heard if Midcontinent is going to pick this station up? You would think they would, considering the new deal they announced with the Twins and Gophers. Email them and tell them to bring CSTV to Midcontinent. midccomm@midco.net

I was hoping that wouldn't happen before the game next week. Maybe The Ralph should hold off on promoting the return of former players who are not regulars in the NHL.
-
Did INCH actually give some UND players some respect? What is going on here?

PCM Great info, a lot of insights that we couldn't have gotten from anywhere else.

Impressive to win Hobey Bakers in consecutive years like that. What a team.

Would be nice to see Roche playing full-time for the Wild. With experience, he really has the ability to blossom into a fantastic player.

Was '84 one of the Hull years?

Much better, thanks Tony. I was just playing with you a little bit, no harm no foul.

Don't you remember how windy is was that day back in 1906. It was a bright, sunny day, but the wind was something fierce.

"If you want UND's side of the story presented, you better do some research and chime in because the NDSU version is this" Yeah, we will all get right on that when you sound so respectful and ask so nicely.

LOL If that isn't the truth. There's a Western Collegiate Hockey Association??? Really? The people that vote out east are the same people who couldn't believe McGovern lost to Nixon, because everyone they knew voted for McGovern.

Again, I will reiterate my last post, would rather have a NC anyday. Should I post it again
-
I would definitely take the NC any day, but just wanted to point out how some of our players have really gotten the shaft over the years.

Who are we kidding, North Dakota players get the respect to be nominated, but are always overlooked when handing out the big prize. It really gets old when some of the better players in college hockey continue to get overlooked. Greg Johnson, Jason Blake, Jeff Panzer to name a few.

I'm rooting for ALL the goalies.

Sorry, meant to say their loss to USD.

University of Minnesota-Duluth Isn't that like the University of North Dakota-Williston?

I'm also wondering why UMD is so loved by the pollsters. UMD's win over USD was definitely diminished by USD's loss to a DIII team. It is laughable when the polls come out, regardless of what sport. Though they claim the polls are not biased, you know that the votes being cast are in direct correlation to the attitudes and feelings coaches feel towards other programs.

I'm not an expert on NCAA elgibility, but I would think that this year would count towards his elgibility. I could definitely be wrong, but he isn't transferring, and he personally isn't injured. The NCAA does make exceptions, but from what we know of the NCAA, a majority of their decisions are never in favor of the athletes, coaches, schools, or fans.

Here is a link to the wild website that has about a minute and half long interview with Travis Roche about training camp and his thoughts on how he is playing. http://wild.com/index.cfm?section=team&cont_id=204585

How many members were a part of the Farce?

I didn't know about Weber's family situation either. I apologize if any of the comments seemed to be insensitive, but i'm sure I was not alone in not knowing Weber's story.

No problem paying 3 bucks, but can they at least put some more parking spaces in. I won't be too pleased if I have to pay and park in that grass south of the Alerus. A couple times last year, you needed a 4 wheel drive to get around in the mud. If they are going to charge, at least pave some more of the lot. I seen where they have started this process, but from what I have been reading, these spaces are just going to replace the ones lost to the new motel. So we will be back to square one in regards to parking once the new motel is built.

Thanks Fedorov for your insights. I have been very interested to hear how it went from the people who actually camped out in line. Were there a lot of people turned away that couldn't get tickets?
