I just don’t trust our defense. Cam Miller is playing very well too and he has that thing that our defense has struggled with, mobility.

I’ve asked before but do we have a QB target? Would think Fruechte would try to get his own guy in his first class with UND.

I wish we would have color matched the green better. Think this would look 1000x better with the green tops but that’s just me!

I’m probably one of the bigger Danny backers on here and it will take some time for me to back Fruechte like that. I do like what I see from him but we have to pickup the passing game and everyone knows that. Also have to give Fruechte a bit of grace to get his QB in here that is best at operating his offense.

And that one home game is at noon on a Thursday? Wtf

I hope to see him continue improvement on defense and string together games. He’s shown flashes of being a better than average defender but not consistently.

Practice opened yesterday.

I don’t want to read through all of this but has there been any explanation on why it took so long to get Ziebarth in the game? Felt like he was maybe given a quarter suspension or something? Or dealing with injury and we were hoping to hold him out? On the Romfo-Jerry thing, all I’m going to add is that it was malpractice not giving Jerry some more live reps in the Idaho State game.

I was thinking we’d see it either for homecoming or that week.

0-2 at home vs. Idaho State and 4-1 on the road. Last L came in Pocatello but after a dramatic big win at the Alerus over Cal Poly. Year before came after a dramatic road win vs Sam Houston and we lost at home to ISU. Those Idaho State teams finished 6-5 and 3-9.

I do think your last sentence is exactly why though. They were thinking he could maybe still keep the defense honest with his arm, but he couldn’t. They said screw it, Simon do what you do best and that’s move your feet. Maybe the throwing will come but right now he’s most valuable as a runner. If Feeney is still on the team, I assume this is their plan from the beginning.

Yeah I knew he was down early and didn’t look good and see Miller mentioned he didn’t return either. Just stating the announcer at the stadium gave him a tackle later on haha.

I swear I heard the announcer say his name later in the game making a tackle but could have been a mistake. Hope he recovers quickly!
