Besides your prediction, what does Sather have to do the rest of the way and in the tournament to warrant an extension? I don’t know if this warrants it but I could see finishing 4-3 in this stretch and then winning 1 game in the SLT and Chaves extends him. Whether you agree with that or not is one thing but Chaves cannot lame duck Sather. Either move on or extend.

I’ve gone once. I do think it’s a solid facility. Shame though the attendance but who wants to go to Verm.

Aaron Kallhoff. He’s now the head coach of Sac State. Went 6-25 year 1 and is currently 10-10. Certainly a much more experienced coach.

Yeah I would agree with this. Probably my favorite player but hasn’t been what was hoped. I do think that might be due to injury though. I know after the Bama game, Sather and Trey were on the Mostly Major show and it was mentioned how he was playing through some injuries. Beings he hasn’t sat guessing he’s fighting through those.

Maybe, maybe not. I do believe, if I recall correctly, he was the one that grabbed Hurst to sub in.

Why the hell was Hurst put in there? She is such a liability.

Schiller is so legit. Such a good opportunity the next 3+ years to surround her with talent and good coaching. I said it before that she can have a Caitlin Clark effect locally.

I don’t think you can only blame the coaching. The payers deserve plenty of blame too. The effort on D by some of these guys is just pathetic. Coaches deserve a lot of the blame but don’t let the payer’s off the hook.

USD’s defense coming into the game was 358th in the nation or something. While the first half showed some encouraging things, I’m not buying it.

Not too long ago I was pretty bummed because I could only go to 3 more home games. Now it’s down to 1 and I can’t wait for it to be over.

Offense is fun but I had almost no fun watching that game. Other than Mara’s dunks. This just sucks. USD sucks too so hope they aren’t on their high horse. UND just sucks more.

Could it be we can’t just win off history and The Ralph anymore? Maybe we have to catch up on the times in terms of the NIL. USD (KP 264) comes to Grand Forks Thursday after getting hammered at home against NDSU. They seem to be struggling to find their identity and who’s going to take control of the minutes and like UND, prefer not to play defense. Their adjusted defensive efficiency (358) is actually 8 spots below us. They do, however, have a more efficient offense than ours. This is the final trip Paul Bruns will make to Grand Forks, unless the NCAA decides to allow people to play forever. He sits at 1-3 against UND in his career. Would say his career maybe didn’t pan out quite how he envisioned after winning Freshman of the Year. Hard to say he regrets the move though as he does get to play basically in his hometown and with his brother. Other than Paul, you have 3 other guards to keep an eye on. #12 Isaac Bruns, Paul’s brother, #9 Chase Forte and #1 Kaleb Stewart. All 3 are double digit scorers. Hope we can continue some momentum from the KC game. It is dollar dog night so come hungry for some hot dogs. Hopefully they figure out how to sling them quickly. KenPom has UND as 2 point favorites with a score of 90-88 (defense optional).
