no way man. Its fun to watch the gophers lose, but its way more fun to beat them handily when they are actually a good/talented team.

Scary part at this point is, you could easily risk losing your top draft pick players at the end of the season because the team is bad.

Highly doubt it. But it does beg the question. Do you give the reigns to Jackson and see what he can do, contingent upon Hak getting let go, and coming back. OR Do you wait out the season, and move right back to Hak if he is available? I don't think there is any doubt that if Hak is available, he is the absolute #1 college coach on the market. Also, lets not forget they are good friends, that could play into how things transpire. Would Hak take that from Berry? Would he try to bring Berry back in a different capacity (sorry, but good bye Shaw). Would Berry take a year or two off and then come back as an assistant again? How long will Jackson hang around as an assistant? A whole new question ... how much do we pay our head coach vs. UMD? If we can offer more, would Sandelin ever want to come back to UND? If Chaves does not, at least, explore that option or have that conversation, he has not done his job. You might not be able to have him, but you need to have the conversation. If this season does not take a drastic change of direction (as it did so many time with Hak) there will be a ton of questions next spring.

Well that exciting. I'm sure they will have a lot of fun. Hey thats all that matters at this level. right? Right. RIGHT!!!!

I remember players saying they were always nervous to let Hak down, because he was a hardass. But that players didn't want to let Bubs down. Seems like that mentality worked for about a year, when player were adjusting to Hak leaving. Maybe the coach need to be more of a coach and less of a buddy. That may not be accurate, but it is certainly the perception right now.

I was never in the "Fire Hak" crowd. I think he could get the most out of players with less talent. That being said, I like Bubs, but similar to Bubba in Football, he needs to change some things.

2nd time in 3 weeks we have seen this trash. How many times did Hak get blown out like this? Sorry, but this is trash hockey. I like Bubs, but if this is the best you can motivate your team against Duluth, you may be looking for work soon.

they are soo brutal. I'll bad/amateur commentators or radio broadcasts over this trash. UMD should really be embarrassed that this is the best they can do, and Fox Sports North should be embarrassed for airing this trash with out their own crew.
