Exactly what I was wondering. I feel like Kett got hurt before they opened the playbook up and started taking some of those longer shots. I guess we will see how it goes this weekend, though if weather is a factor we may not see the downfield stuff until the Davis game. I just hope they have more plans to use Cam, and JJ needs to get low when running. Kid is a horse, time to make an impact and get some yardage. If the run game comes alive, we've got this.

Izzy played his true freshman season, correct? So he could ultimately play in a couple games this year (when/if healthy) and use his red shirt. Could someone correct me if I'm wrong. Would be nice to keep his speed and depth at WR, especially since we will lose some other guys next year.

Would be nice to see the running game get going a bit this week. JJ needs to stop standing up so straight when he runs, he should always be able to get a few yards if he actually lowers his should. Mckinney needs more touches. run him outside, give some jet sweeps, throw some screen passes. just give him the damn ball and use the speed. Would be nice to see what Griebel on a sweep as well. Need to get Boltmann to make a few easy passes early, then let him run a bit as well. Very interested to see how Ketteringham looks this week. Hopefully he is actually good to go. Everyone should remember he only played a half, so we didn't even see what he could do with a full playbook. Time to get a win against these guys.
