Hate blaming official but they didn’t miss a call, they went completely one way for the last 5-6 minutes. Avants had no options on defending Geu at the end.

Wife an I were talking about that. These guys are great to listen to. They call the game like it is and don't appear to favor anyone, except for the team who is earning it at any given moment. Very impressive job by UNO on their production. They have truly invested in their program, and hopefully their results will eventually show on the ice.

If you can't beat them (or stick with them) at the beginning of the season, you probably won't in the playoffs. Any yes, I would expect the Bison to be in the playoffs. Do you want to make the playoffs, or win in the playoffs? I'd prefer to win. Beating UND would be huge for any team in the FCS, why would we be any different. And yes, there is a rivalry factor. And recruiting implications. And it would be a driving force more more following and fan involvement. Not sure which part of that wouldn't be critical in building up the program.

Does anyone know where we are at with the following? QB: There has been speculation with Logan Graetz. I haven't see anything on the kid, and don't know how he stacks up with any other potentials. Has there been communication with this kid, or is it just speculation. Does anyone know if there is mutual interest? Do we have other potentials? Any QB will not do here, we need an actual scholly QB that can compete. WR: As far as I'm aware Caleb Nelson has not committed yet. I kind of wonder what he waiting for. He has an FBS offer, so if he wanted to play at a bigger school I would have though he would have already signed. Do we have a feel for if we can land this kid before the next signing day? NG: Any potentials here for a dropdown? Any other potential late additions.

Far bigger thinks to complain about with this program, or most UND programs, than Carson Shanks. Was he our best player, no. Did he leave when we could have used hime, sure. Did he make the right choice going to another school for a different experience, and something that he'll never forget. Yes he did! And now he wants to come back to coach a bit ... seems like a team guy and a good decent person to have around. Welcome back!

I for one enjoyed watching the game and the win. It is still tough when you look at the season as a whole and you see just how far this program has dropped. Not just in wins/losses, but in how they play the game. Like I said I enjoyed the game but I haven’t sent enough to get me excited about this team yet. Sweep CC and sweep Omaha and knock out some other big wins and I’ll start to get excited again. We need a Hakstol type second half run here.

Thats my point, we don't have a guy that gets to the hard areas.

What kinds of shots are we taking though. Seems like a lot of low percentage shot from the outside. We don't have the skill to setup the tic tac toe passes. Those outside shots are why we rack up numbers and make goalies look amazing. We are also missing a guys like Parise that can sit in front of the net and pick up the rebounds from all of those outside shots. We have skill, but the skills that we have don't always mesh or compliment each other.

Maybe they want to come play a complete game against my men's league team, we could use a couple more wins too.
