Everyone in the college hockey world is saying that the NJ organization is t he key to success in the NHL instead of buying your way. The more and more I watch NJ's draft day decisions and transactions, the more I think "classy organization." NJ is playing old time hockey in a new hockey regime and is making everyone look like fools! I still like the Red Wings, but even if I do, I can still root for the Devils because they're in a different conference NJ vs Det Stanley Cup!

Diggler- Look who's talking What would most likely happen with someone like Drew if he opted in would be what may very well happen to Marc-Andre Fleury. Drew would get drafted by a team, lose his NC$$ eligibility and be assigned to major juniors. M-A Fleury hasn't been assigned back to his team, but it is a definite possibility. It wouldn't make sense at all for Drew or anyone for that matter to leave early for the NHL after this season if they don't have an agreement. I mean, it would be hurry up and wait.

The only thing about Caig I heard was that he was injured enough to be listed as probable for last week's games. Other than that, it's BS. Caig isn't Leavitt. Besides, who decides to go down a notch when you are a top player for a team? It would be like being named to Honors program with a free ride scholarship to Harvard and instead going to Dial-a-diploma Junior College and casino out of your own pocket. Yes, I know there is historical precedent with returning to juniors, but if I were to leave an NCAA team for juniors, I'd be investigating Major Juniors instead of going down to the USHL.

Yesterday or the day before, Wilson had a goal. Speaking of which, the post strikes again! Against the Penguins, Hale came about a red post away from his first NHL goal. APparently his shot hit Fleury in the right arm and carrommed off the post.

Chorney is coming in 2005, which wasn't mentioned. I'm thinking the climate in the NHL is what is keeping Duncan. I think he is probably going to spend a year in juniors before coming to college unless he decides to go elsewhere. However, he may think it as pretty cool to play another year with Chorney before coming to play at UND with Chorney. I don't know. But as things are going right now, Zajac's linemate (that everyone talked about) will probably not come to UND next year if he decides to come to UND at all either.

I've seen him score goals... well, A goal anyways. It's almost like the movie Mighty Ducks with that kid who only hit the net 1 out of 5 times with his shot. But that shot.. wooooooo... It is always a thought in his mind, but I dont think he will. if hell freezes over and he lasts all four years, it'll make him 21 when he graduates. That being said, even ZP would be 22 if he stayed all four years. In any case, I don't think anyone's leaving early unless things in the NHL start looking better.

I have no idea as for Sioux jerseys, but historically in the NHL, there are more players in the hall of fame who wore the number 7 than any other number. I think that even goes for numbers retired as well.

Wait a minute... if Prpich's job is defense, why isn't he a defenseman? I think Prpich scoring is just an oversight by the powers that be and the fans. His job was checking and that's it. It's nice to be wrong in this fashion. Although, I've been a big fan of Prpich since the fight, I think it's nice that he isn't a Scott Parker or (no offense, forecheck) anothe Wookiee.
