Anyone here find it hilarious that a 2nd year law student put the whoop ass on a first year? Just what we need: Another scheister ambulance chaser. This 1st year will make us famous for suing flagpole companies to recover damages from when he lost a bet and stuck his tongue to said flagpole

Patrick Roy? Umm... He's Gretzky compared to Curtis Joseph as far as stick handling is concerned.
-
Daigle never really panned out and he was first overall.. By the way, Hasek was picked beyond the 4th round. Balfour was UNDRAFTED Luc Robitaille was picked 200 plus overall. I think even Gretzky wasn't a first rounder (but that is highly speculative)

Ha ha. Maybe SFiP should stop spiking your prune juice So are you heading to Denver, PCM?
-
I think both Schneider and Fuher have good shots from the point. Both have had key goals in recent series. Fuher, remember, won the Denver series with a shot from inside the blue line center ice. Since I have never seen Naumenko play (sad for me), I can only say that his shot must have been spectacular. Whatever happened to him anyways?

I find it hard to believe that Schneider is as big as Bina. Especially when Schneider appeared taller than Bina when he skated by Bina during warm ups.

Blue haired old farts! Dang near get beaned with your walker every time you try to get a round the concourse! Fogeys like you have bedtimes that begin right about halfway through the 2nd period! Now drink your prune juice and talk real music.

I'm sorry, but I dare not bet against a goaltender who has done very well against us. I believe Siouxtupa in the fact that this team is fast. We have to play physical and not let them open it up against us. Brandt is a good goalie, but he's not the fastest goalie on the ice. Berkhoel is a talented goalie who will definitely keep the Pioneers in the game. I say the game will go similar to Saturday vs SCSU. A few lucky bounces and a Sioux victory. But I would not be surprised if this series brings the first overtime to the Sioux season. I do not anticipate a huge goal tally this weekend. UND 2-1, 3-2 (OT)

Maybe so, but I think Canady has done well for himself as of late, so I would put the edge on him making the start at least on Friday. I am not sure if they bring extra players along with. If they do, Palmo will definitely be going and probably Fabian as well.

No tours on Saturday. Sorry. However, they MAY be able to give you a later tour on Friday. A phone number to call is 701-777-4167 and get to the Pro Shop. Then ask for tours.

This is hilarious. Especially since my parents work for Meritcare. They would laugh too. Of course, they don't understand hockey.

Physical presence with an offensive bend to him. He's a good checker and a good positioning dman on defense who knows how to score. Will he make the NHL? Hard to say because he was drafted by Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh can't afford McDonalds right now. I would say he is worthy of the NHL, but I don't see him as much of a scoring threat in the NHL though. Definitely will make it, but hopefully Pittsburgh will trade him for cash or something.

You are thinking of Hockey East. They recently installed a similar system to the NHL. Or they are installing it. Mike Schmitt and R Schmidt are annoying but good refs. I still like Campion the best. Filling holes? The first guy I would go to is one of Campion's AR's, Carton. He rarely makes bad calls and he's working closely with Campion, which we could use more Campion style officiating in the league. I mean, how often do you see a reffing job where every penalty called you get startled and say "wait a minute. that's not.. no wait.. Yeah, that is a penalty." Todd Anderson swallowed his whistle during the UMD/BSU series, true, but I have never seen him swallow his whistle in other games. UND/BC was a good example and he did the same thing with Minnesota in Denver I think this season too.

Read it yourself. You have the office above the DS I'll post it when I get it, but if you sieve me, I'll make another poll and this time, it will be worse than the hottest Sioux player

I used their web submitting thing so I am afraid you'll just have to wait.

Got a call from the Dakota Student and the letter will be printed on Friday

I think so too, but twice as many blind refs? Campion is the only ref in the league who has called decent games and even he let a few get by him. And, Schmidt actually did call a good game and a half last week.

I said Greene and Smaby for one reason: Size. Again, I'll use the Red Wings as an example. Tomas Holmstrom can score, but he's not really known as a scoring forward. He's more of an immovable rock the Wings place in front of the net to drive the goalie wild and get a good screen going to score. That's why I suggested Greene and Smaby. Like BC with Boyle. And you know what? BC scored using that strategy. Boyle managed to shoot one in. But I think the same results can be met by putting offensive minded people in front such as Bo, McMahon, Stafford, Genoway, and perhaps even Prpich, Hale, and Schneider. The point is getting size in front of the net and having that person be good at not getting moved.

I got a lot more said when it was longer, yes. However, I went the high road (or tried to). I didn't want to spend my time attacking the dude who wrote it. I wanted to attack the issues he stated. I think I got that done.

As it was mentioned earlier in this thread, warm up music is selected by the team. It's sort of inspirational, the VH song, but it is kinda lame. But it's better than Shania and Sheryl Crow during warm ups. Would you feel better if you heard Cher? Or perhaps Kiss "rock and Roll all night" in honor of the Edge from the team

I sent a reply, but I admit it is a bit weak. Had to cut a lot out of it to get it 250 words or less

Wasn't there a Gopher game in Mankato last year that featured 16 penalties in 2.5 periods? Or something ridiculous such as that?
-
Jerks. The lot of you! I'm the hottest Sioux guy! Everyone knows that. You guys are Lucia wannabees. Dropped the gloves

I talked to Mike at Applebees after he pulverized a guy (well he left on a stretcher) or I think that was him who did it. Anyways, I told him that he was doing awesome and that he needed now to cap off the weekend with a goal (which he got the following night). No, I am not taking credit for the goal Anyways, the dude is laid back very easy to get along with. He explained to me what a draftee goes through when they get to camp and what he expected when he reported to Devils camp. Which I was right again. He said he would spend a year in Albany and I said he'd only spend half a season. Darn I'm good, but I give credit to him. I only wish he'd get in shape so that we can watch Calgary games and see him beat the crap out of people.
