Kaip goes for interference. TH calls it a "bad penalty." I don't know if it was a bad penalty or not, but I consider any discipline breakdown a bad penalty regardless of whether or not it was marginal or not. No excuse to play undisciplined.

They were talking about how, though it was "probably a penalty ( )" Prpich's tripping call was marginal. They also said that UND was getting mugged in the last 4 minutes of the period. Prpich got high sticked and a lot of clutch and grab. Damstrait- True, but I wouldnt care about that statistic if we could have put more than one on the board.

I really wish I could watch this game. I don't know if the Sioux radio rubes are being truthful about the penalty calling or not.

:shrugs: It is nice to know that we have four on Team Canada now. The fact that there were usually 1 on the team and last year none makes the number (four) jump out at you. I bet that's driving MJ leagues crazy that someone good could actually go a different route than MJs. So yeah, I think the curse may be over.

Yeah. There goes that theory. And all those whiners who came in and talked about Angelo being cut probably didn't factor into the fact that Angelo is a year younger than Toews. Angelo won't get to be in 3 straight U20 WJCs, he'll only be in two. Waaaah! Good grief. Even if Canada doesn't win it all this year, they're going to have like 90+% of this year's team back next year and they'll surely win it all then.

I really see Genoway as a 1 for 1 replacement of Marvin. Both are F/D combos but Genoway can play Center, where Marvin, I believe plays Wing when he is up front. Unless he lights it up like older bro, I expect Chay to have about the same impact as Marvin on this team. What concerns me more than Genoway is Marto's size. Sure, 6' is a good height but 160 is just plain LIGHT for that height. I'm no expert when it comes to size to success, but I really think that Marto's weight is a concern. As for forwards coming in, I really like what Vande is going to do for us. Size and skill, maybe not the best skater. I just hope that McKeen's scout was off when he said Forney was "defensively lacking."
