  1. 1. Eidness has to make that save - the guy had to go to that side due to the defender coming from the middle, his hand was forced.. 2. Mattson turns it over and then does not take the penalty to save a goal or at least take stab at the stick. Double F'up on one play.
  2. The worst 5 min major call in the history of hockey.
  3. Looks like Denver is trying to be a bunch of tough guys tonight.
  4. Who cares. Worry about UND's schedule.
  5. The expert has spoken. Our season is laid out for us incase anybody was wondering how it is going to go. Funny how NDSU played two Big Sky teams in the playoffs, two years ago, and now they are experts on style of play, how to beat them, and how to succeed in the league.
  6. You said Mussman and Faison were begging, not fans on a message board. Also, ESPN3 doesn't count for televised games-its the internet...and nobody gets it.
  7. What Tyrone Grandstrand needs to realize is that the Alerus Center, in 2001 when the building was built, agreed to install new turf after 10 years on their own dime. They failed to meet that deadline last year (2011) because of incompetent management. So instead of paying all 3.9 million dollars they only have to pay 1.9 million. Not a bad deal.
  8. Who said UND is begging to play every other year? If they wanted that contract, they would have took it. How does the article from Duluth say that "nobody wants to play us"? Are you OK Dan?
  9. You said that keeping the nickname does not benefit the university. My question is: if they keep the nickname, who does it benefit then? You obviously want to keep it so who do you see benefitting from keeping it?
  10. Benny, I am still waiting on your answer to my question............
  11. So who will benefit from keeping the name? What is your end game?
  12. No. Not interested.
  13. Great point. There is no way that Wisconsin or Minnesota will be able to keep their doors open without those two games per year vs. UND. Not a chance.
  14. You seem to know an awful lot about NDSU and their scheduling-plus an obvious slant towards their side. Is this imposter #5 for the year?
  15. For the last time Dan, it is easy to want to keep playing when your first recruiting class(the winter BEFORE the transition started) was aided by the increase to 60 scholarships. Then, on top of that NDSU brought in Juco transfers to help the process. These were all things that would have made it uneven within 2 years and were unavailable to UND. Three years in would have been 3 full classes of full scholarships (63) plus Jucos.
  16. Finally your true feelings are coming out after all that nostalgia bullsh*t you said earlier. Nobody bit so you turned back into Fetch 2.
  17. This is so consistently pathetic. They lead games for 37 minutes then cough them up. At some point somebody needs to get some balls on that team and take over the game. Good teams have the ball in their best players hands damn near every possession in the last 2-3 minutes. I have never seen a team with less guts than this one.
  18. Add another one to list of who finally let out their true feelings about UND.
  19. Yes they would be charged. The price of season tickets would go up accordingly with what they charged for that game, in the year it is played.
  20. If Gene would figure out how to charge more for a premium game it would be very good financially. He could easily charge $15-25 more per ticket for that game.
  21. Just to clarify for myself and maybe others, what does the "No" vote do? How is the ballot question going to be laid out?
  22. You said it much better than me, well written.
  23. ....and what is the main sport of the"nickname at all costs" crowd? Go back and look at the comments from that "crowd" once they were pushed about their thoughts on the "other sports".
  24. One good thing that has come of this debate is we officially know what the "die-hard" hockey fans think of the rest of the athletic department. Not all hockey fans, but the hard-core ones. I hope all the UND basketball, football, and volleyball fans out there remember this for the future.
