Which is exactly what I said. Then, I took it further and added in Berry's comments via Hennen's radio interview where they basically talked about the Sioux nickname for a good part of the time. He kept emphasizing how they are going to continue to honor the past in the program, blah blah. Which means they are going to continue to draw on the Sioux name for motivation, etc. Which means they sure as hell aren't embracing the new name for anything. Why do you think they want something that is "as close to North Dakota" as possible? For the reasons I laid out above. You guys refuse to believe the hockey team has ulterior motives in this thing, unreal how you cannot believe what you are reading. Hell, even Jim came out and agreed that it appears that way and he is as level headed on here as anyone.

I voted for Nodaks. Posted yesterday in the Exit Poll forum. I just hate and am disappointed in the reasoning why the hockey teams want Nodaks. They couldn't care less about the name itself.

You know exactly what UND does every Saturday. I am friends with too many Bison fans who sit at the NDSU game and have the UND box score up on their phones. They damn near follow the UND games play by play from the Fargodome. I know because they tell me updates through obnoxious texts

That wouldn't have happened because it would not have allowed their continued use of the Sioux name. Nodaks streamlines the process for them to easily ignore "Nodaks".

Schloss just tweeted this about him interviewing the hockey players and coaches about their preferred name: "just doing my job asking a question many readers were curious to hear the answer" Yep, and just in time to make sure all hockey fans know exactly how the players/coaches they love are going to vote. That wasn't meant to persuade anybody, right?

You are really reading this wrong and turning it into something it isn't. I and others got after Old Time for immediately after the game saying he is turning to hockey now. I have never said anything about an entire faction of UNDs fan base being bad for another. I watch 10+ hockey games per year on TV. I watch every BB game on TV. I watched VB. I like UND alot. I wasn't trying to divide.

Like what? Cause there are some pretty damn good reasons why teams are throwing on them (Reyes and Arnell) Or why they cannot pass (no Wrs). They shouldn't cough these up, no. But they are getting exposed and there is nothing they can do about it right now.
